'2d Street, on Sunday at 8 p.m. Interment private. PHILIP LEHMAN, 86, DIES; NOTED INVESTMENT BANKER Philip Lehman, senior partner Lehman Brothers, investment bankers, 1 William Manhattan, and in a first cousin of former Gov. Herbert H. Lehman, died yesterday in his home, 625 Park Manhattan.

He was 86. Mr. Lehman was a contributor to many charities and in earlier years had been a noted art collector. The latter interest he pursued in collaboration with his wife, Mrs. Carrie Lauer Lehman, who died in 1937.

Two years after her death he gave collection of 350 pieces of rare embroidery, lace and weaving to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts in her memory. Born in Manhattan. Mr. Lehman was the son of the late Emanuel Lehman, one of the founders of Lehman Brothers, and the sate Mrs. Pauline Sondheim Lehman.
