Will Be Held in Town Hall at Jamaica. The Question of erecting a hoard-walk for the Pockaways will come iip before the Board of Estimate her cn Friday, April 27, or Friday, May 4. This was made public to-day when Chief Engineer Charles U. Powell, of the Topographical Bureau of Queens, informed a committee of the Arveray Boardwalk Association that the plans of the Rotkoway i teach boardwalk were almost com-pteted, and that It would take about three weeks before all the data that is to be presented at the Board of Estimate meeting will be fready. Engineer Powell, in his conference with the members of the Arverne Boardwalk Association, stated his department held several meetings with Chief Engineer Arthur Tuttle, of the City of New Yorty and Phil Farley, chief consulting ngineer, of Brooklyn, who super-vised the construction of the Coney Island boardwalk.

At these meetings It was decided to (erect the experimental boardwalk which is to run from Beach Fifty-ninth street to Beach Seventy-fifth sueet, along the same plans as the Coney Island boardwalk. The walk will be eighty feet wide and will have two sections, the one for walking purposes and another for rolling chairs. The boardwalk will be erected with the purpose of connecting towards Edgemere and Far at Beach Fifty-ninth street and towards Hammeis, Hollands and Seaside, connecting with the Rockaway Park Boardwalk from Beach Seventy-fifth street. Petitions for the Belle Harbor and Neponsit boardwalk, starting front- the present boardwalk at Beach 120th street, have been also approved, and it is expected work on this section will be started either at the same time or shortly after the work on the Arverne boardwalk is started. The only section In which the petitions for the boardwalk have not been approved up to date, are the Edgemere, Hammeis, Hollands and Seaside sections.

To-night at a meeting of the Jamaica Local Board, which will be held at the Jamaica Town Hall, the petitions asking the City of New York to cede the title of the ocean front at Hammeis, Hollands and Seaside will come up before that body. Commissioner of Public Works Benjamin Marvin, who will preside, has placed himself on record at various occasions as in favor of a boardwalk for the entire Rockaway There is no Question "that there will be plenty of opposition to the boardwalk proposition at this meeting. This opposition will come from amusement owners at Seaside, who will lose their property on the south aid of the present boardwalk. But it Is expected that, regardless of this opposition, the matter will pass the local boaid, The Rockaway Park boardwalk, which runs from Beach 309th street to Beach 126th street, and which is fhe property of the Park Department of Queens, was recently completed. It is a forty-foot walk and a celebration In honor of the opening of this boardwalk will be held in May.

Alexander Cohn and Algernon Nova, who are the owners of th Park Inn baths, are planning a lebration in honor of this event. Smith will be present at this ce'ebratlon. The Arverne Boardwalk Association expects to have the first spile driven on this occasion and will ask CORPORATION NOTICES. NCW YORK SUPREME COURT, toLCOND JUDICIAL DISTRICT.
