and Mrs. Kenneth Moberg, St. Paul, visited over the week end at the home of Mrs. Moberg's mother, Mrs. Florence Woolley.

They brought Mrs. Moberg's brother, John Woolley, hojme. He had been on Okinawa and has now been honorably discharged from the Marines. Mrs. John Borgas who came1 for the graduation of her cousin, Miss Arlys Hickcox, from the Luther hospital, School of Nursing, Eau Claire, on Friday returned Monday to her home at Delavan, Minn.

She was a guest at the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hickcox, during her stay here. Pvt. Wayne Anderson has reported to Camp Maxey, following a week's furlough at the home of his parents, Mr.

and Mrs. Olaf Anderson, 1421 8th street. This was his first furlough since entering the service seven months ago. He was previously stationed at Camp Hood, Tex. SSgt.

and Mrs. E. J. Neider-korn and baby, Carol Jean, and Mrs. Neiderkorn's mother, Mrs.

Hazel Liddy, Kenosha, arrived Tuesday night and are visiting at the home of the latter's sister, Mrs. Leo Williams, and at the Lafe Gordon home. SSgt. Neiderkorn is on a 30-day furlough, having just returned from Italy. Mrs.

C. M. Vickery, Iron Mountain, arrived last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John M. Buran.

She will remain until Christmas time. Accompanying her here were her daughters, A. R. Fortier, Iron Mountain, and Mrs. Denton Alley and children, Green Bay.

They returned home on Friday. SSgt. Gerald A. Solie returned to Kennedy General Hospital, Memphis, Saturday after a 60-day furlough at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs.

G. A-Solie. Recent guests at the Solie home were Mr. and Mrs. Wm.

Bennedix, Minneapolis, and Wm. C. Randall, Fort Worth, Texas. Mrs. Randall and son, Richard have been visiting her parents the past month.

at the Bethany Lutheran church, Rice Lake. Rev. A. E. Berg read the double ring ceremony.

Mrs. Edolph Shervey played the wedding music. The bride wore a light blue suit. Her corsage was gladiolus and rose buds. Miss Alice Delegard, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid.

She wore a black and fuchsia suit with a corsage of pink gladiolus and yellow flowers. James Rassbach was his brother's attendant. A wedding dinner was served at the Land O'Lakes hotel to the immediate families. Pfc. Rassbach will report back to Camp McCoy Sept.

30. He expects to be discharged soon. He served ln the ground crew of the 8th Air Force in England for 23 months. Mrs. Rassbach will return Wednesday to her work at Montgomery Wards, Rice Lake, where she is cashier.

BPW CLUB HOLDS MEETING AT COTTAGE The Business and Professional Women's Club held its September meeting Wednesday evening at the Schabacker cottage on Lake Taint-er. Misses Gertrude Nussbaum, Esther Dickman. Anna Nesseth and Helen Larson were co-hostesses with Miss Schabacker.

Guests at the meeting were Florence McDonald with Gertrude Nussbaum, Hazel Calhoun with Helen Larson ahd Mildred Harsh-man with Lene Jones. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. W. L. King. To the strains of the Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin played by Mrs.

Ed Lausted, the bride entered the church on the arm of. her father. She wore a gown of slipper satin and a crown of seed pearls which held her finger tip veil In place. Her only jewelry was a double strand of pearls, a gift of the groom. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

The bride, was attended by her sister, Miss Edna Prochnow, as maid of honor. She was dressed in a floor length gown of blue net over taffeta. The bridesmaid, Mrs. Benjamine Wellstein, sister of the groom, wore a floor length gown of blue net over satin. Both carried bouquets of pink and white asters with matching shoulder length veils.

Both wore a double strand of The groom was' attended by Lenard Prochnow, brother of the bride, and Benjamin Wellstein, brother-in-law of the groom. They were dressed in gray and brown suits. The attendants wore white buttonhole asters and the groom a red rose. Mrs. King sang Promise Me" and Perfect Love" during the ceremony accompanied by Mrs.

Lausted. The mother of the bride wore a brown crepe dress and a corsage of mixed asters. The mother of the groom wore a dark green dress with a corsage of mixed asters. A reception followed after the ceremony ln the church basement which was decorated in blue and white tissue streamers. A three tier wedding cake was a centerpiece of the bridal table.
