Jane Wehrle Meehan, 6459 Artesian ave. He was posthumously awarded the air medal for his part in the raid. A graduate of St. Ignatius high school, he was employed in the offices of a Chicago meat packing company before his enlistment in the air corps. He won his wings at Columbus, in November, 1942, and went overseas last June.

Besides Mrs. Meehan, he is survived by a baby daughter, Carol Jane, born August 30, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Meehan, 6412 Drexel ave. LT.
