Thanks to the untiring efforts of the late, great Leonard Hut- ehlnson, the Port of Destln Is now recognized for Its capability of producing sallflsh, white marlln and blue marlln In quantity However, the potential for big-game fishing has not yet been realized. Four other species are available, but no techniques have been developed for their capture. These are tarpon, yello'w- fln tuna, blue-fin tuna, and swordflsh. Rules: To promote angling for these fine big game fish In our waters, beautiful memorial trophies will be awarded to the skippers of the boat bringing the first of each of these species Into Destln.
