The report notes that with the addition of a $10 per capita tax in Mt. Gretna, all county residents 21 years of age and older are now subject to per capita taxes of at least $10.

The maximum allowable of $15 ($20 in Lebanon city) remains in effect in all but seven municipalities. Occupation taxes, it is noted, continue to be levied at the rates of 11, 10 and 9 mills respectively, by Myerstown and Palmyra Boroughs and Mill creek Township. All are for municipal purposes. It Is further noted, that the transfer of real estate in Lebanon County continues to be subjected to a tax of one per cent in each of the county's six school districts.
