Pictured in a far corner scene with authentically dressed models of a Japanese man and woman is Lil Gruetzemacher, decorations chairman. Winners of ribbons in the specimens division of Alpha Club's 55th annual flower show entered displays under 130 classifications. Judged best of show was the tran-svaal daisy, six inches across, entered by Harriet Goodlad.

The Arthur Battys had celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary the previous week with dinner for two at Talk of the Town in Santa Barbara.
