Graduating seniors Michelle Boudreaux and Douglas Palombo received American Legion Awards as well as the Ram of the Year Awards during Acadiana High School baccalaureate and senior awards program Friday, May 15 at the Lafayette Municipal Auditorium Ballroom. Michelle is the daughter of Glen and Martha Boudreaux.

Douglas is the son of Darrell and Ann Palombo. Robert Rogers, Grace Presbyterian Church, delivered the baccalaureate address. Seniors named in the top 10 percent of the graduating class were announced by Judith H. Cox, principal. Michael Lutgring, Douglas Palombo, and Donna Savoy received U.S. Army Reserve National Schol-arAthlete Awards, while Shawn Antoine received a full athletic scholarship to Southern 'and Lee Arceneaux received a full athletic scholarship to Southwest Mississippi. University of Arkansas Montecello granted full athletic scholarships to Jonathan Carmouche, Steven Kibodeaux, and Mark Weber. David Chaney was the recipient of a $2,600 athletic scholarship to William Carey College, Todd Cled-ment received a $600 Lafayette Bowling Council Scholarship. McNeese State University granted Douglas Dotson and Kelly Frankenberg full athletic scholarships, while Ronald Duhon and Tyrone Harris will be attending Arizona Western on full athletic scholarships.

Kenneth George received a full athletic scholarship to Northwestern University. Randall Pittman will be attending Northeastern University on a full athletic scholarship.
