12th May 1841. NEW DU. II A 11 HELL'S LOTIO.Y. IT is truly surprising to witness Ihe favourable effects of this medicinal preparation in the cure of a great many of our must aggravated maladies. If the disease he acute or of recent occurence it will subside iu a few minutes if il be Chronic or ot long slunding it will disappear in a few days; but in every case pain will be overcome almost instanta neously fur such is the sudden transition which is realized from eitreme suffering to a state ol perfect ease, that the operation is barely terminated, when the patient eiclaims, his pains are gone, and that a favourable change has passed upon the disease.

These statements ere not merely theoretical, but the undoubted result of observation and eiperience This new and powerful principle in medical prac tice, will greatly lacilitalu llie cure of all hut will, beyond the most distant shade of doubt completely subdue the following maladies, provided they are ithin the reach of human eaus Dig. pepsia Asthma, Neuralgia, Tic Doloureui, Epilepsy or Fils, th. All bad been done for him which medical skill could afford, yet Its found no relief. Meeting with me he requosted I should try my practice on his case, Ihe result as he got rid ot his puins. It was accomplished iu three days. Case 4. Mrs.

It of Elizabeth City, N. was attacked with acute Rheumatism in the left shoulder and arm, could not raise it to her head; but lo render Ihe pain tolerable she was compelled to steady it wilh her right hand. I operated upon the Ah-ease which took me about ten minutes and the consequence was the pain subsided, she raised Ihe arm without difficulty, and used it in adjusting her dress. Case 5. Mr.
