Refreshments will be served. buna oners program The Christ Church Women's Guild is sponsoring a church service program for parishioners tonight at 7:30 in Parish Hall.

Family life group plans parish dance, devotion LLl7 the Parish Council as well as appointed parishioners. The committee plans social functions, service projects andVeligious education. During the fall the group sponsored a new parishioners' coffee and a communion breakfast in Ryan Hall. Plans for the rest of the year include a Lenten devotion program and baccalaureate mass for graduating high school seniors. The committee also has been working on a new parishoners' package to be presented to all new members to acquaint them with the religious, educational, social and service organizations offered by the parish.

Scott Suma of the Small Christian Communities Office of the Newark Archdiocese will speak at all masses Sunday to introduce the "Called to Be Faithful" program which will be offered as a Lenten devotion here. Participants in small groups will meet in private homes during the six weeks of Lent for mutual support, sharing, prayer, continued learning and outreach. gregational Church will hold its 11th annual auction dinner Saturday at 6:30 p.m. The evening will begin with music by The Interludes string quartet. Dinner will be followed by an auction of goods and services to church members. The event is conducted primarily to raise funds for a scholarship program in conjunction with the Union Baptist Church, Montclair. Additional scholarships and other educational projects also are supported by the proceeds of the auction.

Robert Barger is chairman of the dinner and Robert Jackson is in charge of the services auction. Dominick Carbone is general auction chairman and Gary Elliott is co-chairman. The fund-raising activities will tinue next weekend with a silent auction of new goods contributed by members of the church and an open auction of used but usable items. The public is invited to attend. Anyone wishing to donate items to the auction may call the church office, 379-5600, to arrange a pick-up or for further information.

Felice Moran Former township resident Felice Coady Moran, 50, died of asphyxiation in a car parked behind Community Congregational Church early Sunday morning. Local police and fire officials said the vehicle's engine apparently had been running for some time after her death, overheated and triggered a fire. The burning auto was seen by the church's sexton who summoned emergency personnel to the scene. Mrs. Moran, who was born in Dallas, Texas, had lived here for eight years before moving from Pine Terrace East to Springfield in 1978.

Mr. Richman was a past member of the executive board of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors and a senior member of the American Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. He was a former member of the Board of Electrical Examiners for the City of Newark.

Mr. Richman was president of the Rabbinical College of America, Mor-ristown, which awarded him an honorary doctorate in 1982. He also was a member of the Salaam Temple and the Ancient and Accepted Order of Scottish Rite, both of Livingston, and the.Edgemont Columbia Lodge 267, South Orange. Born in Latvia, Mr. Richman had lived in Newark before moving to Springfield 19 years ago.

He was a trustee of Congregation Oheb Shalom, South Orange, where services were held Tuesday. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Nadelberg Richman; two daughters, Karolyn Gould and Barbara Elliot of New York City; a son, Stanley of White Oak Ridge Road; and six grandchildren. day at .10:30 a.m. Contributions may be sent to the church. Richman, 88, president of Lightning Electric Co. here, died Sunday in Overlook Hospital, Summit. Mr.

Richman co-founded the firm in Newark 65 yers ago and named it after New Jersey's Army division, the 78th Lightning Division, with which he had served during World War I. The company moved to the township 23 years ago. Wana Slifer Former township resident Wana Sears Slifer, 82, of Cranford died January 8 in Muhlenberg Hospital, Plainfield. Born in Short Hills, Mrs. Slifer moved from the township about 30 years ago.

She lived in Clark before moving to Cranford in 1982. For the last 30 years, she was a real estate broker and owner of the Crestview Realty Scotch Plains. She also was a member of the Plain-field Board of Realtors. During the 1930s, '40s and '50s Mrs. Slifer had owned numerous nightclubs in New York and New Jersey.

She also was a nightclub impresario and singer working under the stage name "Princess Wana." Her husband, Michael, died in 1961. Dr. Tokayer has served as chairman of the congregation's youth committee and as a consultant to the National Conference of Synagogue Youth. He also has been a director of Hebrew camps. The West Orange resident received his doctorate in psychology from the University of North Carolina.

He is licensed by the New Jersey Board of Psychological Examiners. Proceeds of Sunday's testimonial breakfast will go to the National Con-' ference of Synagogue Youth. Mr. Schlosser Former township resident Alvin J. Schlosser, 87, of West Orange, died Friday in Newark Beth Israel Medical Center: Services were held Sunday.

Mr. Schlosser retired 20 years ago as an investment banker. He had been director of Blyth New York City, for 20 years. Born in Newark, Mr. Schlosser had lived here for many years before moving from Fenton Drive to Florida and then to West Orange three years ago.
