At the time of the settlement, the Committee maintains it understood the cost of the work would be approximately $200,000. Later estimates saw the cost of the proposed work escalate to approximately $800,000. Also on the agenda for Wednesday's meeting is an ordinance which would designate flood hazard areas in the township.
