rr, iind all ol our business and jiio-I lesstonai interests should ol coin interests should ol be members of our chamln -r of commerce. In fact, to carry nil our full program for the coming year we must not only materially increase our membership, but we must increase some ol our smaller sub-scrijitions to amount'; more nearly commensurate with our new budget and the returns thai will accrue therefrom to our individual members. But even this will not be sufficient to finance the advertising program we have set as one of our major goals for 11)37 and 1338. We must receive a considerably greater amount of financial from the city government of Sarta Cruz if we are to give Santa Cruz a real and adequate advertising and publicity campaign, carefully designed to bring many thousands of additional visitors to our community during the coming twelve months, i I know you folks appreciate what it means to Santa Lruz to have a live chamber of commerce such as we now possess. I know vou want it to continue to be a living, grow- ing and going concern.

So it is with a high degree of confidence! that I tell you that I expect to con- tinue to receive your active co- I operation, both in man power audi money, during the coming year.
