Rapid Robert has two sons participating in LL and he expresses his gladness that they are playing. One of the main points which is voiced in LL is that the parents are taking it over, wherein Feller relates, "So what if the parents get as much fun out of the league as their children do? I think that is one of the Little League's strong points.

It can be a family adventure Another mark against LL Is the annual "World Series" in Williamsport, Pa. The principal statements against it consist of the belief that the disap. pointments and strains on the players is too much for boys in the 812 year old group. "Boys who like sports can be just as disappointed at a defeat suffered in some school competition as they will be at losing a 'championship' game," Feller remarks. Ilenrich's main complaint is that LL is too much organized bv adults.

"I don't know why the kids can't run their own ball games. We always did Henrich says. He believes baseball should be an outlet for kids to have fun, and with scheduled practices and games, this outlet is shutoff and the game is "just more instruction, more supervision, more competition and more tension." Another thing he has against LL is the amount of managers to whom winning is the most important thins. "There are, I'm afraid, entirely loo many of the frustrated John McGraws in Little League and too few imnatient, easy-going teachers," Henrich says. He concludes, "Super-organization is what I'm against Look around your town, if you're eager to help the kids play baseball, and make sure they have a place to play We'll have to go along with Mr.
