There was even a large bunny, almost as large as the children themselves.

Judges for the Doll Show were Mrs. Richard Shoemaker, Mrs. George Livingston and Mrs. Franklin Steele. After much effort, they finally named the winners, toners-town Playground winners were Doris Ritchey, Bonnie Dickersbri.

and Debbie Leonard. Anna Iris McCahan is supervisor of this playground. Saxton Playground winners were Sharon Reed, Carol Comely and Jean Mellott, Mary Ann Lowe, Js supervisor of this: playground. The social room of the Orbisonia Methodist Church was the scene of the semi-monthly dinner meeting of the Orbisonia Lions Club on Tuesday evening, July 3, at 7:00 o'clock. A most delicious baked ham dinner was served by the "Gleaners Class" of the Sunday School. The tables were beautifully decorated in a patriotic scheme.

Blue larkspur, white baby's breath and red roses used in low vases, red, white and blue candles in crystal candelabra, groups of small American flags and a small American silk fag at each plate for a favor, maa" a lovely arrangement. The meeting was very well at- Lended and was presided over by President Chal Cisney. The National Anthem was sung, Lion John E. Allender led the flag- salute and Invocation was given by George E. Gladfelter.

Lion Homer T. Wear led the Lions and guests in group singing, which was much enjoyed. Two guests were present: Prof. Glenn Ott of Camden, N. the guest of his nephew Raymond W.

Ott, and "Jack" James, the guest of Harry E. Fraker. Following the appetizing dinner, the film showing the parade at Chicago during the 1950 Convention of Lions International was shown. Lion Harold Douty showed the film which had been ordered by Lion Harry G. Hamman.

This was an interesting 1 feature, and gave to the group a very good idea of the magnitude, arid far- reaching membership of the Lions Organization. Especially noteworthy was the number of high school bands in the line of march, Which shows the interest the Lions take in young- people, schools, etc. of communities. As the film was rather lengthy no other program was given and it was decided to have the delegates report on the Atlantic City convention at the next meeting.
