Charged with carrying concealed weap ons, Harry Friedman, of Arverne, waft held without bail by Magistrate Gilroy, at Far Rockaway, yesterday morning. Fried man was employed aa tailor by Max Trauner. of 18 Boulevard, Arverne, and during a quarrel over money matters on Tuesday night, it is alleged ha truck.

Trauner on the head with a piece of lead pipe, causing severe scalp, wounds and concussion of the brain. Trauner is now in St. Joseph's Hospital, Far Rockaway. Friedman is also alleged to have struck Fanny Rosenstein, who was employed la the shop, several times on the head, Inflicting scalp wounds. She did not have to be removed to the hospital.

When Policeman O'Donnell was told that Friedman had been seen running down the street immediately after the assault, he went to look for him. He found Friedman sitting at a sewing machine In another shop a few blocks below, with bis hat and coat off, apparently hard at work. The officer placed him under arrest and-locked him up. ENJOYED TEOLLEY RIDE. With the night ideal for an outdoor event, the Dramatic and Literary Society of the Church of the Holy Innocentl last night held its first annual trolley ride. The destination was Richmond Hill and a Jolly party boarded the car at the Avenue barn shortly before 9 o'clock. An hour later they arrived at Terrace Hall and Park, where the young people enjoyed a supper and dancing and general merry-making.
