DRAYCOTT'S BIRTHDAY. Seventy-fifth Milestone of Well-Known Brooklynite Is Happily Passed. The seventy-fifth birthday of M. D. Drayeott was made the occasion 'of a happy celebration Saturday night at his home, 443 Lafayette avenue.

Outside of his immediate family more than UK) friends called upon Mr. Drayeott to ex- cart their congratulations. Mr. Drayeott. hale and hearty, and with the enthusiasm of a youth of 20, responded to all thesa felicitations in person.

The men's class of the Central Presbyterian Church helped organize a men class in the First People's Church, Twelfth avenue anil Forty-flrth street, Borough Park, the Rev.

L. C. Pettit, pastor, yesterday afternoon. A delegation of nbout forty men went from Central Church. The meeting was a successful one, and many took part in the discussion.

Mrs. Schaeffer, contralto of the church, sang, and she was allowed to remain durinp the discussion. Ths special service In the Central Church Sunday school at the same time was under the charge of Evangelist Schaeffer, and on his Invitation thirty-five young people decided 10 live ihe Christian life. ratehogue, L. March 6 With the record of seventeen games played and only one defeat recorded, the ratehogue Tornadoes now claim the basketball of Suffolk Co. They have defeated every team in the counly with whom they have played, and won from their strongest opponents Southampton twice during Ihe season. Last Saturday's game with Southampton was a snappy one, and the excitement the spectators ran high during the playing, although the Patchoguers maintained the lead throughout. The first half ended 18 to 8 for the Tornadoes, tho final score 'being 35 to 12.

Pro Patria Council No. 1312 of the Royal Arcanum, hold in their council rooms. Arlington Hall, corner of Gates and Nostrand avenues, Brooklyn, on the evening of February 2S, a very novel and ir.ii resting entertainment which wan at-tcded by about 2u0 people, the majority whom were women, this being woni-, en's night arranged by the entertainment committee of Pro Patria Council. The entertainment consisted of musio by the Rainbow Orchestra of five pieces; tenor solos by Clifford Bailey and J. ii.

Wilson; soprano solo by Miss Anna Lambert; recitation by Harriet K. Mlddleton; musical glasses bv A. W. Bennett; a whist tins solo by J. R.

Striker, past regent of Oxford Council. Special novel features was the distribution lo each lady present of a package containing samples from 45 different manufacturers aggregating a total of about 6,000 pieces of merchandise that were given out In this manner. This distribution was followed by a collation iec cream, malted milk punch and cake The evening will probably be long remembered by (lie women present as one of pleasure and a novelty in the way of ei'tertalnment.
