Brooklyn undertaker, who had been in business for the last 40 years, died today at his home, 7614 4th Ave. He had been ill for the last three weeks. Prominent in Masonic circles for nearly 50 years, Mr.

Waldeck had served two separate terms as master of Kedron Lodge 803. F. A. once in 1904 and again in 1942. He was a member of Clinton Commandry 14, Knights Templar, Orient Chapter, 138, Royal Arch Masons, Long 1 Grotto, the Brooklyn Masonic Veterans sociation, the Mason's Club of Bay Ridge, the Felloweraft Club, the Past Masters Associaation, and Kedron Chapter 224, Order of Eastern Star.

Mr. Waldeck was born in Manhattan and had resided in Brooklyn since early in life, many years Beach. He started in in Manhattan as successor of Carl Krull, later coming to Brooklyn where he opened an establishment in the Homewood section and then at 1851 86th St. In 1928 he opened an establishment in the Homewood section and then at 1851 86th St. In 1928 he opened E.

C. Waldeck's Home for FuMrs. Kate Winterling and nerals at 7611 4th Nite. Charles Viedt as partners. He was a director of the Bensonhurst National Bank, and a member of the 12:30 of Bay Ridge.

He also was Chuben ber of the Bay Ridge Men's Club, the New Utrecht of the Young Men's Christian Association, the New York Scheutzen Corps, Amt Hag. ener Society and the Fritz ReuAster Altenheim. Masonie services will be held at his home at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow, and on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. There will be religious services at St.

Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 313 W. 22d Manhattan, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Kensico Cemetery. Surviving are a brother, Christian Henry Waldeck, a retired member of the New York Police Department: a sister. Mrs.

Emily Meyer of St. Peters. burg, and a number of nephews and nieces. Mrs. Olga S.

Stokowski, 65, Ex-Wife of Noted Conductor Memorial services for Mrs. Olga Samaroff Stokowski, 65, piano recitalist. lecturer, author and teacher of piano at the Juilliard School of Music. Manhattan, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the concert hall of the Juilliard School.

Mrs. Stokowski. who was formerly married to Leopold Stokowski, the conductor. died yesterday of a heart ailment in her apartment lat 24 W. 55th Manhattan.

Mrs. Stokowski. the former Lucie Mary Olga Agnes Hickenlooper, was born in San Antonio. and as a child showed marked aptitude for the piano. She studied at Paris Conservatory for three vears and then Berlin.

Because of hostility in Europe of Americans who sought to enter the field of serious musical interpretation. she took the name of Samaroff. a Slavic name in the family, and on Jan. 8. 1905.

made her debut as Olga Samaroff in Carnegie Hall. with Walter Damrosch conducting. Later she appeared with many leading orchestras in this country and abroad. She was mar. ried to Leopold Stokowski 1911.

as he was about to become conductor of the Philadelphia Orchestra. The marriage nated in divorce in 1923. The couple had one daughter, Mrs. Sonya Stokowski Thorbecke Cambridge, Mass. Mrs.

Stokowski was made member of the faculty of the Juilliard School in 1925 and 1927 became head of the piano department of the Philadelphia Conservatory of Music. At one time she was chief music critic of the New York Post. Twenty years ago Mrs. Stokowski helped found Schubert Memorial. which later came affiliated with the National Federation of Music Clubs, its purpose being to aid young musicians.

She was the author of several books and lectured at Town Hall. In 1938 the Order of the Crown of Belgium was conferred upon her. Besides her daughter, she survived by a brother, George L. Hickenlooper of St. Louis.

his division took part in the Normandy invasion and the Battle of Cherbourg. Surviving are his parents, Mr. land Mrs. Edward P. Mullin and a brother.

E. Steers' Will Is Probated Here Surrogate Francis D. Mc. Garey has admitted to probate a will executed Oct 6, 1944, by the late Alfred E. Steers, onetime Borough President and for 38 years a city magistrate.

Mr. Steers died March 2 at the age of 87 in his home at 150 E. 18th St. His will left in trust his estate of "over $20,000 in personal property" to his wife. Mrs.

Laura G. Steers, who died April 16, 1947. It also provided that after her death the per sonal property be divided equally among their son, Alfred E. Steers Jr. of 980 Ocean daughter, Mrs.
