Eugene Gregory Butler of 6646 Sedwick Place was married at the Church of Our Lady Angels to Capt. yesterdare Bernard E. MacBride, U. S. Army, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Edward J. MacBride of Belleville, N. J. The ceremass at George mony was performed, at a nuptial W.

Foley and the Rev. Raymond J. Foley, uncles of the bride, officiated. The bride, given in by her brother, Lt. John E.

Butler. U. S. Army Air Forces, wore a gown of white satin and with a white white adorned fingertip length, veil and carriedite orchids. Miss Frances Moore of Manhattan, was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Miss Alice McMahon and Miss Ruth Saunders, both of Bay Ridge.

Joseph T. Maguire of Belleville, N. was best man and Charles Foley of Hempstead and Charles P. Gelshen a of Belleville a acted as ushers. wedding breakfast for immediate families followed the ceremony at the Hotel Towers.

The bride is a graduate of St. Saviours Academy and the C. F. Young School. Capt.

MacBride attended New York University and is a graduate of New Jersey Law School. Prior to enlistment in the army he practiced law at Newark, N. J. He is a former member of the 36th Infantry now stationed at 'headquarters," New York Port of Embarkation. Upon their return from their wedding trip the couple will reside in Bay Ridge.

More lenient dim-out restrictions promise more night dining and dancing along the shore. The Lawrence Beach Club will officially open its season with a dinner dance on Decoration Day night.
