Jim Spehar may talk a good game about wanting good jobs for the county, his Republican challenger said, but the county uses subtle ways to stop growth of good jobs I just think theres a lot of talk about growth and development, but they find all sorts of ways to make it very difficult for people who have been here in business for awhile to expand," Kathy Hall said Regulations in the Mesa County Planning Department and other departments are among the causes of the problem, she said Spehar denied there was any such bias, saying, I dont think the facts will bear it out When you look at the attorney, said the county and courthouse officials need to re-examine the security measures put into effect this summer at the courthouse It seems to me when we put a sign out front of the courthouse
