Mullarkey Rites Planned Funeral services for Dr. Christopher Joseph Mullarkey Sr. will be conducted Tuesday at 8:40 a.m. In the Wessendorf chapel, thence to the Our Lady Star of the Sea church where a requiem mass will be celebrated commeno-Ine at 9 o'clock. Interment will follow in the Holy Cross cemetery.

The rosary will be recited tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. In the Wessendorf chapel. Dr. Mullarkey, a native of California, had been practicing dentistry in Santa Cruz for the last 11 years, and lived and had his office at 1424 avenue. He had practiced in San Francisco before moving to Santa Cruz.

He died Friday in a local hospital after having been Injured Thursday morning when his automobile rammed tree beside 17th avenue. He was a member of the East Santa Cruz Lions cluh and the Olvmpic club of San Francisco. He js survived by two sons, Christopher. J. Mullarkey Jr.

of San Francisco and Michael J. Mullarkey, stationed with the army in Virginia; a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence B. Cable of Santa Clara; a brother, Thomas Mullarkey of San Francisco, and two grandchildren, Shawna Mullarkey of San lCranciseo and Karen Cable of Santa Clara. Hale, a native of Wis-consin and a resident of Santa Cruz for the last 34 years, died yesterday in her home at 235 Sixth avenue after a long illness. She had come to California as a young woman and was preceded in death by a son, John E. Hale Jr. who died in 1950. She is survived by a niece, Mrs.

Hazel McPhee of Wisconsin, and two nephews, Ned S. Vogel of Alhambra and James Newham of Oregon. Funeral services will be eon-ducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. In White's chapel with Rev. R.

Brady, who died in his home. 1190 South Ninth street in San Jose Thursday. Interment will follow in the Golden Gate National cemetery in San Bruno.

Brady, who was 66 years old, was a native of San Luis Obispo and had lived in the Santa Clara area the last 60 years. He had been an installer for the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph company for 40 years and was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. He is survived by his widow. Jewel V.

Brady of San Jose; two daushters, Mrs. John Daly of Santa Cruz and Mrs. Sandra Collins of Montana; a son, Jerry Brady of San Jose; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Bremer and Mrs. Mildred Bent, both of San Jose, and four grandchildren.
