-Frank, son of the died late on Alexander Saturday, and Margaret McCoy, 14th Instant. at 1023 Orianna street, aged 37 years. The deceased was a hatter by trade, but had been working for John Strang, expressman, for some time. He was a member of the Neptune Club, of which Thomas McGuire is president. He leaves a widow and two children.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, 18th instant, by Rev. Alfred Heebner, pastor of St. John's M. E. Church, and the interment was in North Cedar Hill Cemetery.

The pall-bearers were John Strang. Fred Shields. Bernard McCann, Samuel Hill, John Kelly and James Lawson. Undertaker Samuel W. Kehr, 1010 North Fifth street, had charge.

Church of St. Paul, yesterday, by Rev. John F. Kiernan. The bearers were Thomas F.

Joyce and Thomas MeCromen. Interment Cemetery, in charge of the infant son of Paul V. and Mary E. McGuigan, died at the home of his parents, 4237 Leidy avenue, on Thursday, October 17. His parents are members of Our Mother of Sorrows R.

C. Church, Father Shanahan rector. The interment was made at Old Cathedral Cemetery. McKEEFERY. -John McKeefery, aged 61 years, of 2317 Mercer street, died on October 14, and was buried on Wednesday, Oetober 18.

Deceased was a member of the Steamboat Association, having been employed on the Delaware river forty-nine vears. Requiem Mass was celebrated at St. Ann's Church, Lehigh avenue and Memphis streets, by Rev. Father Egan, and interment took place at Bristol under direction of Daniel F. Gallagher, undertaker, 2620 Tulip street.

daughter of Neal and Sarah McKeever, died at No. 1209 Emily street, on Sunday, October 15, aged 16 years. Deceased was a member of the R. C. Church of the Epiphany and attended the Sunday school of the church, Miss May McGalligan being her teacher.

Requiem Mass was celebrated at the church by Rev. P. J. Hanagan, on Wednesday, October 18. 'The pall-bearers were Carson Hettheigton, Michael Kearnan and John Hooker, young playmates of the deceased.

Isabella was a pupil of the Benson Public School and a member of Miss Porter's Sunday school class in St. James' Protestant Episcopal Church.

-Mrs. Jennie Peterson, aged 52 years, died on Monday, 16th at 620 Winton street. The funeral took place Wednesday, 18th inst. Services were conducted by Rev. A.

F. Taylor, of Snyder Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment was in Mount Moriah Cemetery under the direction of William F. Cushing, undertaker, 1100 Snyder avenue. Elizabeth Pfeiffer died at the German Hospital on Monday, October 16.

She was a resident of Middletown, Pa. Deceased was a native of Germany. having been born there in 1842. The remains were sent to Middletown, where interment will be made. The funeral direetor was S.

Lindley Rutter, 620 North Fortieth street. J. Pitman, a native of Schuylkill county. died at his home, 1812 North Thirteenth street, on Tuesday, 10th Instant, aged 52 years. The deceased was born in Pottsville, receiving his education In the schools of that city.

After graduating he associated with his father in the lumber business. His father was elected Sheriff of the county, but died before ne had served his term. The deceased Was appointed to serve for the unexpired term, afterwards being elected for a full term. In 1880 he came to this city and took a position in the Philadelphia Gas Works. At the time of his death he was in the employ of the United Gas Improvement Company in its Spring Garden street office.

Funeral services were held on Friday evening, 13th instant, by Rev. J. M. Newlin, of the Protestant Episcopal Church of the Incarnation. The interment took place on Saturday, 14th instant, in the Presbyterian ground at Pottsville.

The deceased enlisted at the commencement of the war in the Twenty-sixth Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, in which he served until August, 1864, when he was promoted to a first lieutenancy in Company E. Ninety-ninth Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers. He was a member of Greble Post, No. 10, G. A.

R. The funeral services were held on Wednesday, 18th by Rev. N. D. Van Sickle, of St.

He was for the past fifteen years employed in the meter works of Griffith Co. The funeral services were held on Friday last, and among the pall-bearers were Henry Quicksill and George McDade. O'Rourke, undertaker, 1600 South Tenth street. REEDER. -Miss R. Annie Reeder, an inmate of the Home for Incurables, corner Fortyeighth street and Woodland avenue, died at that institution on Friday, October 13. aged 58 years.

The funeral services were held at the undertaking rooms of John Rose, 2616 Bridge street, by Rev. J. P. W. Blattenburger, D.

of the First Presbytertan Church, and the interment was at the Presbyterian Cemetery on Monday, Oetober 16. Louisa C. Rhodes, aged 59 years, died on Wednesday, 11th at 231 South Clifton street. Funeral services were held Tuesday, 17th by Rev. Fusby Gibson, of Zion A.

Deceased was a prominent factor in Democratic politics in the Seventeenth ward for twenty-five years and he conducted a coal business in former years. Solemn Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. Michael's Church. Second and Jefferson streets, Rev. James Fitzmaurice, pastor.

The deceased had been for some years a member of the Protestant Episcopal Church of Our Redeemer, Rev.

H. S. Hoffman, pastor. The funeral services on Monday last were conducted by Rev. George H.

Lorah, D. of Green Street Methodist Episcopal Church. Joseph Walsh, E. G. McCracken, Ervin Weiland and William Laning were the pall-bearers, and interment took place in Mechanics' Cemetery.

-Harris, son of Phillip and Lena Richter, aged 1 year, and 30 days, died at 253 North Second street, on October 9, and was buried on Thursday, October 12. Interment took place at Mount Sinai Cemetery, under direction of S. Goldfus, undertaker, 623 South Third street. Rev. Thomas W.

Riday, aged 67 years, passed away on the 16th instant, at the residence of his son, Joseph T. Riday, 2544 North Lawrence street. The deceased was a native of this city, having been born at Fifth and Berks streets. Early in life he joined the M. E.

Church located on Germantown road, now St. Michael's T. A. B. Hall, and subsequently was ordained to the ministry in the same church.

Throughout his life he officiated as a local preacher, always retaining his connection with the Cohocksink, now the Sev. enth Street M. E. Church. He gave proof of his paciotism in the year 1861 by enlisting in the One Hundred and Twenty-fourth Pennsylvania Volunteers, and after his return from the battlefields of the South he associated himself with the S.

S. White Dental Manufacturing Company, a connection that only death severed. He was a member of St. Paul's Lodge, F. and A.

Liberty Council, No. 11, 0. U. A. Phillip R.

Schuyler Post, No. 51, G. A. and Philadelphia Beneficial Association, all of which organizations sent delegations to the obsequies. His four sons, Harry George.

Joseph T. and Clarence together with his two sons-in-law. George W. Stewart and Harry Smith, served as pall-bearers. Funeral gervices were held at the Seventh Street M.

E. Church, by the Revs. Bickerton, Webb, Westwood, Best, Wood and Thomas. Interment took place at the K. of P.

Greenwood Cemetery, under the direction of David H. Schuyler Son, undertakers, Sixth and Diamond streets. RIDER. -Annie Rider, died at 716 South Twelfth street, on Monday, 16th instant, aged 21 years. Funeral services were held on Thursday, 19th instant, and interment was in Bethel Cemetery, Snow Hill, Md.

J. Warner were the pall-bearers and Addison Foster, undertaker, 933 Lombard street, had charge. J. Riley, a retired baker and one of the oldest residents of the Thirteenth ward, died at his residence, 677 North Tenth street, on the 18th instant. He was born in his city 79 years ago and.

at all early age entered the employ of a cousin who was a baker, and a few years later established a baking business for himself. For fifty years Mr. Riley has been connected with Grace P. E. Church, and took a great interest in Sunday school work, he having taught a young men's Bible class for many years.

The funeral services were held Saturday at Grace P. E. Church, and were in charge of Rev. H. Richard Harris.

William Stuart, 660 North Tenth street, was the undertaker. R. Rittenhouse, a direct descendant of the famous Rittenhouse family which figured so prominently in revolutionary history, died on the parental estate, 6621 Germantown avenue, on Monday, October 16, aged 57 years. -Mary Weiser, the wife of Benedict Weiser and daughter of the late James and Ellen Carland, died at the residence of her brother-in-law, John Davis, 2341 Ralston street, on Friday, the 13th inst. High Mass was celebrated on Monday morning last by Rev. M. J. Gleeson, at St.

Francis Xavier Church, Twenty-fourth and Green streets. The pall-bearers were Thomas Tie, Michael Dougherty and John Davis, and the interment took place at New Cathedral Cemetery, in charge of Funeral Director John C. Cahill 262 South Twentieth street. son of Ambrose and Bridget Welstead, aged 22 years, died Friday, 13th at 510 South Twentyfourth street. The funeral took place on Tuesday, 17th inst.

Solemn High Mass of Requiem was celebrated by Rev. William C. Currie at St. Patrick's R. C.

Church. He was assisted by Rev. John Thompson, of Coatesville, and Rev. Robert Thompson, of Easton. Pa.

Frank O'Keife, James Baddan, George Ray and Robert Vernon acted as pall-bearers. Interment was in New Cathedral Cemetery, under direction of William H. Logan, 2410 Lombard street, undertaker. Walter Weymer.39 years of age, died at his home, 766 North Fortyfirst street, on Sunday, October 15. Two brothers, William and Harry, and one sister, Emma, survive him.

He was member of the Antioch Castle, No. 38, K. G. E. The funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, the 18th by Rev.

Jesse Higgins, of Calvary Monumental P'. E. Church, Forty-first and Brown streets. The funeral director was William A. Stuart, 660 North Tenth street.

Elvira Whann, a native of Delaware, died on Sunday last, at the residence of her grandson, Dr. John Whann, 1634 South Broad street, aged 83 years. Deceased was a member of the Presbyterian church and in her younger days took all active part in the many organizations connected with it. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, 11th instant, at Newark, Delaware, by Rev. Thomas Gilphin and interment was at Christiana hundred.

Undertaker Frederick E. Keene, of 1828 South Sixteenth street, was in charge, Undertaker Wilson, of Newark, assistIng. WHIT Charles White, formerly in the installment business, died at 1315 South Eighth street, on Sunday, 15th instant, aged 47 years. Requiem Mass was celebrated at the Roman Catholic Church of Annunciation by Rev. Patrick J.

Dailey, on Wednesday, 18th instant. The pallbearers were Thomas Carrigan, Thomas Burns, John Murphy, John Maroney and James McQuade. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, in charge of Undertaker James L. McCann, 1625 South Tenth street. the 17th instant, Charles Elmer, son of Ervin and Annie Wible, aged 2 years and 9 months, died at the parents' residence, 1110 Day street, and will be buried on this (Sunday) afternoon at 2 o'clock.

The Rev. C. H. Griffith, of the Kensington Methodist Episcopal Church, holds funeral services at house, and interment takes place at Hanover Cemetery, under the direction of William Rowen, undertaker, Thompson street, above Palmer. kins, an employe of the United Gas Int-Mary wife of James Wilprovement Company, died on Tuesday, 10th instant, at her home, 4551 Baker street, Manayunk, aged 52 years.

She was 8 member of the First Presbyterian Church. The funeral services were held yesterday afternoon by. Rev. E. Burns, her pastor.

The pall-bearers were Robert Donnelly, her brother, and her three sons-in-law--Charles Bezold. Edward Pickering and Leander J. Jones. Interment was in Westminster Cemetery, in charge of Frank S. Whiteman, undertaker, 6140 Ridge avenue.

Williams, 2420 aged 59 years, died at his residence, Amber street, on Wednesday, October 11, and was buried on Sunday, October 15. Deceased was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Rev. J. A. Goodfellow, pastor, who held funeral services at the house.

Interment took place at Cedar Hill Cemetery, under direction of George L. Anderson, undertaker, 3027 Frankford avenue. Williams, 2 months old, son of Apollo and Matilda Williams, died at his parents' home, 3728 Irving street, on October 11. Rev. Dudley Gibson conducted the funeral services, held on the 13th.

Interment at Mt. Olive Cemetery. The funeral director was James H. Irvin, 3634 Sansom street. Wilson, aged 41 years, died Tuesday, 10th instant, at 258 South Alder street.

Requiem Mass was celebrated by Rev. James Noland, rector of the Roman Catholic Church of St. Peter Clavier. Interment took place on Saturday, 14th instant, in Holy Cross Cemetery. Furneral Directress Mrs.

Addison Foster, 933 Lombard street, was in charge. Thomas Wykoff, well known in the vicinity of Front and Walnut streets died at 100 Walnut street on Tuesday October 10, aged 71 years. He was a native of New Jersey, and had been doing chores for Mr. N. J.

Hart, of 109 Walnut street, for upwards of thirty years. The body was interred in Lebanon Cemetery on Thursday, 12th lostant, from the undertaking rooms of Mrs. Henrietta S. Deturte, No. 519 South Ninth street..
