at SOCIETY BROOKLYN EAGLE, APR. 25, 1954 Edith Elizabeth Lloyd Bride of Mr. Waterman Miss Edith Elizabeth Lloyd, Edward David Lloyd of Douglaston, married yesterday to Vincent A. ence Waterman of Brooklyn. St.

Anastasia R. C. Church, Douglaston, with Rev. Robert Maher officiating at the mass in which the Papal blessing was received. A reception at the Town Club in Great Neck followed the ceremony.

The bride was given in mar. riage by her father. She was attired in a Chantilly lace gown made with an illusion neckline. Her long veil of illusion fell from a cap of matching lace, The bride carried orchids and stephanotis. Her attendants were her sisters, Mrs.

Richard E. Love, matron of honor. and Miss Mary Jane Lloyd, maid of honor. They were dressed in pink frocks and had headpieces of pink and dark blue flowers with dark blue veiling and carried bouquets of pink carnations. Oran H.

Waterman was best man, and Richard E. Love, Rudy T. Schlesinger and C. Michael Higgins were ushers. Mrs.

Waterman was gradu ated from Dominican Academy, Manhattan, and Georgetown Vis. itation Jr. College in Washing. ton. D.

C. and is employed at F. Schumacher and Co. in Manhattan. Mr.

Waterman was graduated from Adelphi High School. Prooklyn, and attended Cornell University. He served with the United States Air Force in World War I1 and is now with B. Gertz in Jamaica. After a trip to Bermuda, the couple will reside in Brooklyn.

This event will close the club's 76th season.

Alfred Boice is the conductor. The guest artist will be Mariquita Moll, soprano of the Metropolitan Opera Company. She will sing two groups songs. Two of the club members, Herman Hennig and Charles Doremus, will sing solos with the chorus: Mr. Hennig in Harvey Gaul's arrangement of "Joshua Fit Battle Ob Jericho" and Mr.
