Peterson, was presented by the choir-directed by Jay Heisey. Mrs. Paul Heisey was organist and Miss CLntra Miller, piano accompanist.

Soloists were Mrs. Ray Gerberich and Mrs. Ralph Forester, sopranos; the Rev. Elmer Horst, tenor and Ralph Forester, baritone. Narrator was Carl Curry.

Union Deposit EUB Church, of which the Rev. Mr. Horst is also pastor, the annual Christmas program was presented Thursday evening in the form of a play written and directed by Mrs. Arthur How- ird. play, "Best Christmas Ever" in three acts, took place in the living room of the Andersons family.

Schaefferstown Sixth Graders Present Skits On Christmas SCHAEFFERSTOWN, Dec. 26 Schaefferstown schools closed the year 1964 with a Christmas program presented by pupils of the sixth grades.

Children of grades one through five were the audience. The program consisted of readings, carols, skits and poems. Thomas Keller, announcer, introduced Peggy Bomberger who had charge of the opening exercises. This was followed by David Krall who read "The Hymn That Lives On." Silent Night was sung in three part harmony by Kathy Grander, Sally Spitler, Dona Boyer, Rene Wike, Bonnie Krall, LuAnn Sattazahn, and Rita Schindeler. The offering of the evening will be used for the Quincy EUB Orphanage and Home. During the candlelighting ceremonies, the pastor lit his candle from the altar candle. Hanover School GRANTVILLE, Dec. 26 200 parents and riends attended Hie Christmas program held Wednesday morn- ng al the East Hanover Elementary School in Lebanon County. The program, "Then and Now" featured the kindergarten and first and second grade pupils. It depicted the Nativity and the traditional and modern carols associated with the Christmas season. Marcia Miller recited the welcome speech.

David Patrick served as the reader for the Nativity play. Debra Albert portrayed Mary and Randolph Taylor portrayed Joseph. The Three Wise Men were Gregory Eckcnroth, Kenneth Stacy and David Couper. Daniel Kreiser, Amy Dohner, Randy Peters, Patricia Lebo, Marie Wildasin, James Hill and James Deaven. Diane Folk, Susan Allison, Ronald Mosely, Carl Deaven, Foster Gibble and Bruce Peiffer presented a playlet. Susan Allison played a piano solo and Foster Gibble sang a solo accompanied by Gail Gibble, pianist. Jack Allison presented a money gift to the Rev. Jay Fulmer on behalf of the congregation.

Mrs. N. S. Miller received a gift in appreciation of her many years of service as organist. The teenagers of Salem and Memorial congregations were invited to the parsonage for a party at the conclusion of the program.

Pickering, Linda Leaman Frederick Henry, Mrs. T. Ellis Henry and Mrs. Schelhorn Feature Christmas Services In ANNVILLE, Dec. 28 Two hundred and twenty persons attended a service in candlelight that included Holy Communion on Christmas Eve at Christ United Church of Christ, Annville.

Choral presentations and i communion service were the main features of the event. The silent procession featured the senior choir. The Rev. W. Miller Price led the preparation and annunciation of a Bible verse and 1 also conducted other ceremonies.

The Holy Nativity featured both the youth and senior choirs. The prayer was offered by the Rev. Mr. Price com immion was offered. The senior choir was directed by James Huey and the youth choir by Mrs.

James Huey. Selections sung by the senior choir were: "There Shall A Star Come Out of David" and "Glory To God." A selection by Youth Choir was "Lullaby Little Babe," a German arrangement The congregation sang "Be hold A Branch Is Growing," "Oh Little Town of Bethlehem" and "Silent Night." (AP) Two separate explosions Friday caused heavy damage at a downtown garage and blasted a hole in the roof of a mining supply company. Police said a dynamite, explosion caused heavy damage to Lee's Garage and to three vehicles stored inside. Fifteen minutes later, another explosion blew a hole 10 feet wide in the roof of the Bruno Mining Co. just south of here. Myerstown RD 1 Couple Has Anniversary Friday FRYSTOWN, Dec.

Kleinfeltersville Present Christmas Program In Trinity Church KLEINFELTERSVILLE. Dec. 26 A large audience attended the Sunday night Christmas program presented in the Trin-' ty Evangelical United Brethren Dhurch by the nursery, kindergarten, primary, and beginner's departments of the Sunday School. They were directed by department teachers, Mrs. Earl Doster, Miss Shirley Griffa and Mrs.

Lyle Krall. A Christmas concert on the organ, presented by Miss Cindy Kale, preceded the program. Mrs. Howard Kale presided during the program. The invocation was offered by the pastor, the Rev.

Dr. Artz Lick. A welcome was given by three tots, Vanessa Mock, Kelly Ontkos and Lowell Mock. "The Story of Christmas' was presented by the kindergarten class who, joined by nursery children, had a finger play exercise and the singing of Christmas carols. Two exercises, "Christmas Lights" with Alice Faye Griffe, Cindy Doster, Sheree Ream and Barbara Shirk and "For You" with Vicky Wike, Stephen Ream and Jimmy Kemper were rendered by the children of the primary class.

Recitations by Robin Ream, Vicky Matthew, Peggy Bomberger and Brenda Levengood interspersed the groups. The beginners class presented three exercises. Group par ticipants were Carol Kemper, David Kemper, Mike Gardener, Nancy Doxlatcr, Joyce Kemper, Cindy Brown, Terry Miller, Karen Griffe, Scott Stohler, Anne Krall, Lori Krall and Cindy Ream. Interspersing the class pre sentations was a piano solo by Lori Krall. The junior choir rendered several selections directed by Cynlhia Kale with Eileen Shirk as pianist.

The offertory selection was played by Mrs. Henry Wasserman. Ushers were Robert Krall and Howard Kale. pro- was the presentation of a play by the Trinity Youth Fellowship group. The characters included: Cindy Kale, Donna Levengood, Ei- Shirk, Robert Stohler and Terry Kale.

Nadine Steinmelz, Dennis Frantz and David Frantz. Mrs. Ruth Krall, assistant Fellowship advisor, conducted the play. A note of thanks was given to Mrs. Krall and the Fellowship group by the group advisor, Luke Levengood, for their fine production of the play.

He also announced the Trinity Christmai Eve candlelight service. The Rev. Dr. Artz Lick offered a closing prayer. The church extended congrat ul at ions to the Rev.

John Levengood upon arriving at the 80th milestone in life. Gospel Center The Gospel Center Youth Forum conducted Sunday evening by Mrs. Elinor Herr opened with a prayer by James Wartluft. A Scripture reading by Mark Alhvein was followed by congregational carol sing. Recitations presented by the following members of the Sunday School primary department: Beverly Brewer, Scott Bender, Joy Diamond, Keith Bender, Butch Brewer, Carl Graby, Jewel Graby, Theresa Brewer, Paul Schwab, Charles Schwab Allen Graby and Jonathan Behney.

Several selections In song were also rendered by the junior class, conducted by'Mrs. Eldion Behney. Talks were also given by the Sunday School teachers: Mark Allwein, Eldion Behney and Mrs. Esther Behney. The Rev.

John Levengood conducted a testimony service. In closing, Rev. Levengood announced the coming of the Sinlng Zims, from the hills of old Berks, for a special Christmas program entitled, "Such Love" to rendered in (he Gospel Center on Christmas Eve. Harry Ruth Kohr a.nd Miss Gladys Frantz accompanied the group. The Rev. John Levengood, pastor of the Lebanon Gospel Center, observed his 80th birthday anniversary at a "drop in" party. The highlight of th event was a gig ride for Rev. Levengood from his home to the Trinity EUB parish house, where the affair was held.

Marvin Bennetch, Myerstown, provided the gig and acted as driver. A large basket of mums, snap dragons and iris was presented to the celebrant and his children in honor of the occasion. Rev. Levengood is enjoying fine health and continues pursuit of his daily activities. He enjoyed a memorable time as he was greeted by his "drop- in" friends.

Rev. Levengood received a long distance call of congratulation durijig the "drop-in" period from his granddaughter, Mrs. Faith Wilbersheid, of Toms River, N.J. A special gift was received by Pastor Levengood from the Sunday School of the Community Chapel near Kleinfeltersville. Drop-in callers included: Mr.
