Custom cars. Any collectible cars are welcome to enter the newest car show in the area. The Aldergrove Lions Club is sponsoring a Valley Show and Shine Auto Show on Sunday, Aug. 14. The event takes glace atParkside Park in Aldergrove from 10 a.m.

FROESE Mrs. Miriam Eleanor Froese, late of Abbotsford, B.C. passed away on July 23, 1994 at age 70 years, at M.S.A. Hospital, Abbotsford. Survived by: her loving husband Abe; L-Son, Charles (Suzy) of Quesnel; 4 daughters.

Peggy (David) Gustafson of Langley, Vicki (Mark) Driediger of Mission, Roberta (Mark) Donnelly of Calgary, Tamara (Mark) Rothenbusch of Fraser Lake; 10 grandchildren; 1 brother. Ruben Nikkei of Ottawa; 1 sister, Doris (John) Redekopp of Abbotsford. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 1994 at 10:30 a m. from Central Heights B. Church at 1661 McCallum Road, Abbotsford with Pastor Pete Unrau officiating.

Burial will be hold at Maclure Road Cemetery. Active pallbearers are David Gustafson, Mark Driediger, Mark Donnelly, Mark Rothenbusch, Aaron Gustafson and Joel Driediger. She was bom Dec. 19, 1908 in Greenfarm, Sask. She had lived in this area for 50 years.

Tina raised a family of seven children. Her greatest joy in life was her family, home, friends and church. Charter member of the Chilliwack Central B. Church. -Funeral Service was held Tuesday, July 19, 1994 at 10:00 a.m.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Cornelius and Peter Voth; three sisters, Sarah Mary and. (Jerry) Goodwin passed away suddenly July 25, 1994 in M.S.A. General Hospital Abbotsford, B.C., at age 79. He was born July 19, 1915 in Saskatoon, Sask. He attended Genereux Flats School and farmed in that area until he was stricken with polio in 1936. Gtetald moved with his young wife Delhis and newborn son Arnold to his parents home in the Dundum area for a short time before settling in Beaver Creek, and then to the farm on Lome Avenue south of Saskatoon.

Gerald was a farmer and livestock dealer until selling the farm and moving to the Fraser Valley with Delhis and his youngest son Harvey in 1961. Goodwin became a shoemaker and had a shop in Matsqui Village for a number of years until he took the rural mail route 1 in Abbotsford with his wife, which they operated for 10 years. He continued delivering newspapers for the Abbotsford News until the spring of this .1 Gerald was an active member of the Access To All" handicapped association and a loyal friend to many, He was recognized by Premier Tommy Douglas and Attorney-General Robert Walker for his tireless efforts and devotion to the C.C.F. Party of Saskatchewan, and will be remembered by many-for his lively and spirited political debates. is survived by: his wife o( 58 years, Delhis; 2 sons, Arnold (Julie) Goodwin of Spruce Home, Harvey (Marilyn) Goodwin of Abbotsford; 1 sister, Helen Howes of Abbotsford; 1 brother, Desmond (Dorothy) of Tisdale, 5 grandchildren, Linda Gooden of Prince Albert, Murray (Leslie) Goodwin of Vancouver, Colin Goodwin of Spruce Home, Michelle (Mike) Appeldoom of Abbotsford, Mark Goodwin of Abbotsford; 2 great-grandchildren, Kurils and Tyson Appeldoom of Abbotsford; as well as many relatives and friends in Saskatchewan and British Columbia.

He was predeceased by his parents and three brothers, Lawrence, Leo and Lloyd. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, 1994 at the Chapel of First Memorial Services, 2808 Mt. Cremation will be held at Mission Crematorium.
