C. Skippon, Widow of Printer Mrs. Agnes C. Dooley Skippon of 88 Ocean Parkway, a resident of the old Fifth Ward for many years, died Friday at her home after a long illness. She was 83 and had lived in Brooklyn for more than 50 years.

Burial will be In Holy Cross Cemetery. 100 Seized in Paris In Drive on Communists Paris (via Berlin), Oct. 8 'Delayed) VP Police, acting to check the spread of communist propaganda, have arrested more than 100 persons on charges of subversive activities. The arrests were made under the provisions of a government decree dissolving the Communist party in France and prohibiting propaganda activities.

Among those arrested was one former deputy from a workers district and several municipal depart resident of Queens for the last 35 years. Also surviving are three other sons, Joseph. Herbert and Raymond and two daughters, Eva and Mrs. Arthur Sheridan. The funeral will be held from the home at 9:30 a.m.

Tuesday with solemn mass of requiem in St. Benedict Joseph R. C. Church at 10 a m. Interment will be at St.

Maglin was the widow of Police Li. Jeremiah J. Maglin, who was widely known for his welfare work in the Police Department. Sheriff Charles Struble said the older youth, Richard Terrell, admitted three days ago hitting the boy with a stick because he would not put his clothes back on after they went wading in the river. Then, Sheriff Struble declared that Terrell told him, he took fright at the sight of blood on the boy and threw him into the river. Terrell is being held for further questioning.
