EVEMXG, OCT. 4, mt Club And Social News Women's Features Hospital Auxiliary Opens Season With All-Day Meeting The Good Samaritan Hospital Auxiliary opened its Kail and Winter seas.on on Monday with the annual Mrs. Horace Brock Mem-' orial Sewing Meeting, held all day at the Lebanon Country Club. Mrs.

Horace Brock was founder of the local Needlework Guild ter. Articles made at the meeting on Monday, totaling approximately 600, will reach the Good Samaritan Hospital through the Needlework Guild after the Guild's annual ingathering tills Fall. The regular business meeting of the. auxiliary was omitted, but it was announced that a rummage sale will be held on October IS and IS in the Eagles' Auditorium. Mrs.

Robert Miller will be in charge of collections. Mr.s. Fred and Mrs. George Wise were in chaise of the day's sewing. Mrs.

Charles Travis and Mrs. John Miller, with their large committee of hostesses, served luncheon. Mr.s. H. Swanger is president ot the aiull iary.

Brides In Recent Ceremonies Mrs. Carl Schmidt Will Sail For Europe Dr. and Mrs. Carl F. Schmidt, and daughter Barbara, of Gladwyn, Philadelphia, have returned home after a pleasant visit here with Dr.

Schmidt's parents, Jeweler and Mrs. J. C. Schmidt, 831 Cumberland Street. Dr.

Schmidt Is director of research at the University of Pennsylvania, and has just returned with his wife and daughter from the west coast where he addressed the American Society pf Professors in SHU Francisco on September 36.
