For W. Jones, API Extension marketing specialist, says that the huge output on U. S. farms in 1952 has solved most of the problems of scarcity that have bothered us for the past sev eral years. ''Therefore," states Jones, "smart farmers will give more attention to producing higher grade prod ucts, describing them accurately, and selling them on the basis of standard grades that are recog nized in trade channels." Warts Are Spread Among Group Of Cattle By Contact Warts on cattle are often spread throughout a group of calves by contact W. H. Gregory, API Extension livestock marketing specialist, says that one good way to remove warts is to clip them off and paint the stumps with tincture of Iodine. Unusually large or deep rooted warts should be treated by a veterinarian. Other, successful ways to remove warts include the use of a wart vaccine or castor oil applied to warts daily. When the vaccine is repeated injections are necessary. "Disinfecting stalls and pens will usually prevent spread of warts," adds the specialist Population lncrease There will be an additional 50 million persons to feed in the TJ.
