In South Vietnam, the B52's flew only 13 missions of about three planes each. But military sources said there was no reduction in overall B52 strikes, which number roughly 150 a day. This was seen as an indication that the big planes were busy bombarding the Ho Chi Minh supply trail through Cambodia and Laos in a drive to slow down a reported North Vietnamese buildup in South Vietnam before a possible cease-fire.

The U.S. military command does not release figures on B52 strikes in Cambodia and Laos. Bourke said work is progressing on the new bridge in the redevelopment area and eight buildings have been torn down. The ground, currently owned by the county, is located behind the Crile Machine Company on North Main Street Extension, Washington.

In addition to approval of an access road from North Main Street, installation of water and sewer lines was also approved. Bourke said the total cost of the project will be $215,000 with the county paying $100,000 and the remainder of the costs borne by state and federal governments. The land will then be sold to make up the county's share of the costs. Development of the 20 acres of land will also open up a 2.5 acre site of the Crile property for development. Budgets of $53,400 for industrial development for 1973 and $34,300 for redevelopment will be submitted to the County Commissioners for approval.

In simpler words, should nine of our local citizens study the possibility of changing the borough's form of government. "A YES vote is giving approval of the nine residents to study for nine months and make suggestions they feel would be beneficial to the Community. "The most important thing for all voters to remember, however, is that a YES vote on Nov. 7 does not commit them in any way to accept any change in local government.

"All that the members of the study commission whom the voters elect Nov. 7 are empowered to do is study what is right and what is wrong with the present governmental structures But the Presbyterians were not the only ones to develop Canonsburg.
