Miss Morain is a rurse in the West Wichita Hospital and is getting the best of treatment. For a few days Miss Morain was in a bad condition but when her father left.her she was getting along nicely and was able to take nourishment. Miss Nellie Pyles. of this city, has entered upon her duties as a nurse in the hospital. Y.

The open season on these birds in Oklahoma is from October 15 to November 15. Ellen Fisk whose home is near Bazaar, Chase counry, was killed by the Santa Fe passenger train. No. 113 yesterday morning at 9:40 o'clock as the train pulled into El Dora Mrs. Fisk had been visiting relatives near that town and her grand daughter, Olivia Hart, had started to the train to go to her home. The two ladies drove in front of the train and Mrs.

Fisk was "struck squarely, her head being completely severed from the body and the body was horri bly mangled. The body was under the third coach before the train was stop ped. Mr Oliver conducted the school for Apprentice machinists the shops this morning. He was sick last week and didn't issue any instructions Daddy Carr, employed at the shops, fell on the switch engine while riding to the depot last night, and received a few bruises. The engine was not running fast and his injuries are not serious. Engine 59 took the talr out. The crews were Engineer Splckelmlre and Fireman Hathaway, Engineer Lansing and Fireman Hopkins re spectiveiy.
