Joseph Fasis-ka, 315 Center St, Taylor, are observing their 52nd wedding anniversary today. The couple renewed, wedding vows at an anniversary mass this morning at 8 in St. Michael's Church, Old Forge. The Rev. Charles Zawo officiated.

Mr. and Mrs. Fasiska were married in St. Michael's Church by the late Rev. Thomas Kuralowicz.

Mrs. Fasiska is the former Miss Ethel Panek of Old Forge. They have three children, Joseph Arlington, N.J.; Edward, at home, and Mrs. Charles Miller, a teacher in Baltimore, Md. They also have two grandchildren.

Nancy Friedman will preside. Installation of officers and fund-raising projects will be discussed and plans made for a Christmas dinner. Guest speaker will be Mrs. Christie Schultz. Entertainment co-chairmen are Miss JoAnn Amico and Miss Carol Gaines.

Burglars Take $519 From Sahara Bar Burglars made. off with $519 in cash after an entry at the Sahara Bar, 117 Penn early Thursday morning.

Patrolmen Michael Balcrius and Joseph Stancheski said the thieves grabbed $479 in cash from an office cabinet and $40 from a cigarette machine. Police said the entry was dis covered by Thomas Hashem who, with his brother, works in the tavern. The intruders forced a rear door and ransacked the interior before coming across the $479 in coin and currency stowed in a cabinet. They also pried open the coin box of the cigarette machine. A cash register also had been tampered with, the police officers reported.

Born in New York City, Dr deAlvarez received his medical degree from the University of Michigan School of Medicine in 1935. He served his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Michigan University Hospital, later serving as instructor at tne Hospital.
