SURPRISE PARTY. A suprise party in honor of Peter Lavalley was given at his home Saturday night by 20 friends and former classmates. The day marked his 20th birthday.

He received a number of gifts including money and a traveling bag. A supper was served at 6:30 after which the guests were entertained with music and games. He left Sunday for Springfield where he has employment with the Fellows Gear Shaper company. HOLD FIELD DAY. There were over 100 members and guests present at the annual Field Day held at the West road trapshooting grounds by the Proctor Fish and Game club Saturday afternoon.
