No services. Wright's Place Burned. The residence of Sam AVright, the voting place of Somerset township, wa3 burned down lhursday morning. Every thing was consumed except one bed. There is an asurance of 8500 on the building, and $500 on the furii ture.

Mr. YVrijrhl is fortunate in liar ing a new house under construction and already almost weatherboar'ded. Suicide at Brownsville. Thursday evening at supper time Bena Bedlar, who live near the toll gate on the old pike, iu Brownsville commit ted suicide by shooting herself. She had been making peculiar threats on her Jife for seme time but no heed was paid to them She had been keeping boarders and while the latter were eating supper they heard pistol shots in the back room where they found her lying with a bullet hole in her head.

MENDELSSOHN. Vexatious Law Suit Dismissed The case before the Allegheny Courts wherein it was proposed to attack the will of the senior Wileon, late owner of the Mendelssohn farm, and to discredit the title to the lots now being sold hy his sons. tne Wilson Brothers, was this morning ruled out ot court by Judge Over who re fused the issue. The Sabbath school at Wesco, will have a festival, on Saturday, Ami 2jth, for the benefit of the library fund. The other night when tbe coal tri in was lying at Webster station, Chas. Beeler, Goorge Jones, Patsy Martin and several boys got on the train intending to get oil' at West Webster station, but the train never stopped until she got to McKeesport and the boys had to take a tie ticket home After travelling all that night they arrived home the next day about ten o'clock, with their shoes worn off their feet and now when a coal train passes by thev sbut their eyes. Chailcs Lennox Dead. From the Washington Keporter. Charles Lendox died at his home, on North Franklin street, Thursday night of pneumonia, tbe result of on attack of the grippe, 'Ibe deceased was bom in 132:2 aud with the exception of eieht vears soent in Illinois and twelve years in Monongaheia City, has been a resident of this place ever since.
