Compounding the suspense are deadly dungeons; a secret formula and a malicious midget, generously mixed with special makeup effects, eyecatching stunts, fast-paced adventure and one woman Adrienne Barbeau. The film's release was tentatively set for early June when this year's bumper crop of films flooded the market.

Several adventure thrillers have already bit the dust, destined for showing over cable television stations. Overnight, Embassy Pictures decided to fill the void with "Swamp Thing," leaving little time to generate a full-fledged advertising campaign.
