The victory vaulted the Sabres into first place in the Adams Division, one point ahead of the Bruins. Buffalo's Dave Andreychuk got his second goal of the game and 21st of the season with 2:09 remaining and Paul Cyr added an insurance goal 10 seconds later as the Sabres extended their record NHL road winning streak to 10 games. The 18-year-old Barrasso, a local boy who went to Buffalo from nearby Acton-Boxboro High School in the NHL draft last year, beat the Bruins for the first time after losing to Boston in his first Garden appearance early in the season.

Barrasso, who scored his first NHL shutout in his last start, had 27 saves while winning his fifth straight game and lifting his personal record to 18-5-2 as a rookie. Barrasso helped extend the Sabres' current win streak to 10 games, and handed Boston just its second loss in the last nine games. Black Hawks 6, Maple Leafs 2 TORONTO (UPI) Tom Lysiak's unassisted first-period power play goal at 17:12 broke a 2-2 deadlock and ignited a four-goal barrage which led the Chicago Black Hawks to a 6-2 triumph over the Toronto Maple Leafs last night. Lysiak closed the first-period scoring after he stripped Gaston Gingras of the puck and broke in alone to beat goalie Mike Dan Daoust, with 31 points in 25 games, opened the first period with a power-play goal past Hawk goalie Murray Bannerman at 5:07. Bill Gardner evened the score at 7:32, squeezing the puck between the right post and Palmateer's skate.

The game, matching the Legislature's team against a local squad billed as the Carl Moffatt All-Stars, is scheduled for 7.

The benefit contest is sponsored by the Red Lion Inn of Stockbridge, and all proceeds from the event go to the Boys' Club. The lineup for the Legislature features five former Boston Bruins players the most former pro players ever scheduled to appear in the 10-year history of the local game. They are all-time Boston career scoring leader and Hall of Famer John Bucyk, fellow forwards Don Mar-cotte and Stan Jonathan, and defensemen Don Awrey and Doug Mohns. Marcotte, Awrey and Jonathan will all be making their first appearance in the annual Berkshire County contest. Joining them on the Legislature's team for the first time this year will be state Lt.

Gov. John Kerry, who formerly played hockey at Yale University. Other players include state Sens. Bob Buell of Boxford and Mike LoPresti of East Boston, a former Harvard player who is the Legislature's goaltender. Moffatt, the longtime Taconic High coach who annually puts the local all-star team together for the Legislature clash, will counter with a roster that included two of his current coaching contemporaries Mount Greylock coach Patch Mason, who is a former hockey captain at Williams College, and St.

Joseph's High coach Mike Murphy, who was a standout at both Taconic High and St. Anselm College. The local team will also feature both of Moffatt's sons Billy Moffatt, who was a member of the University of Lowell team that won the 1979 NCAA Division 2 national championship, and Tom Moffatt, the Hennessy League's all-time career scoring leader who also played at North Adams State College. Other leading all-star players are former Pittsfield High and North Adams State co-captain Dan Caritey, ex-Pittsfield High and AIC standout Neil Eddy, and former PHS star Rick Rabideau, who is now a student at Holy Cross.
