Both appealed- Tb case resulted from raid conducted by state troopers June A Bean was fined 130 for Illegal keeping and offering for sale of liquor and 100 for maintaining a liquor nuisance. Th other defendant was fined $50 for keeping and exposing liquor for Attorney A. B. Clark Lee and Atty. Thomas F.

Cassidy of this city represented the defendants. i i Need of Larger Auditorium Felt as Liarge Class Is Graduated The commencement exercise of the Lenox high school held In the Lenox town had last evening demonstrated beyond question that the town of Lenox. needs a larger auditorium for its public functions and a room with a stage much larger than th present one. Barnes, the superintendent Who worked faithfully for several years in the interests of the schools of Lenox but also Paul R.

Baird, the successful and well-fiked principal, 4s ending his connection with Lenox and her high school. The room was artistically and beautifully decorated with cut flowers, ferns and palms and over the stage was the class motto; Nunquam NdA Paratu (Never Unprepared), worked in th class colors, rose and gold. Seated on the stage besides the class members were members of the school board, the faculty and the superintendent of schools. Ethel DeAngells ha received a Palmer Method button for good work in penmanship, She being the only ope in her grad jto receive this award.
