Tim and Jan Hanke spent Friday at the Livestock Show held in Cameron. Mr. Hanke, Buckholts Ag. teacher was there with some of his students. Joe Wayne showed his chickens which placed fourth.

Billy Ray Roesler from Houston and David Roesler Dallas visited with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Roesler several days. Mr. and Mrs.

Zane Bales of Temple visited with Mr. and Mrs. J. Ellender and Mr. and Mrs.

Leroy Guiilote Saturday. The flu is still hitting so man' folks in our area, and has bet since before the holidays. The weather be blamed for all the flu, unless the mild weather is to blame. The weather has sure fooled trees, some of which still have some of their leaves, to wild plum trees which have swelling buds. -OBITUARIES Kuehl Ted Kuehl, 72, of Cameron, died Wednesday in a Cameron hospital after a short illness.

Services were at 3 p.m. Friday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim McPhail officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr.

Kuehl was born in Riesel and had lived in Cameron for the last 54 years. He was a retired barber. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Esther Kuehl of Cameron; a daughter, Mrs. La Nell Hamel of Dallas; four brothers, Edwin Kuehl of Mart, Lee Kuehl of Waco, Hubert Kuehl of Australia, and Albert Kuehl of Riesel; two sisters, Mrs.

Hertha Allbritton and Mrs. Edna McElroy, both of Waco; and four grandchildren. in Rosebud with Dr. William Newcomb officiating. Burial was in Powers Chapel Cemc erynear Rosebud.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mildred Lanier of Rosebud; three sons, Dan Lanier of Richwood, Carroll Lanier of Brenham and Billy Lanier of Freeport; a brother, Elmer Lanier of Clute; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Fain Lanier ROSEBUD Ira A. Lanier, 75, of Rosebud, died Wednesday in a Rosebud hospital after a brief illness. Services were at 2 p.m.

D. D. Simpson officiated. Burial was in Smyrna Cemetery near Milano. Mr.

Fain died Saturday in a Chillicothe hospital after a long illness. He was an aluminum core finisher. Survivors are: two sons, Phillip B. Fain of Whittier, and Christopher Fain of Chillicothe; three daughters, Mrs. Ellen Harlow of Norwalk, Mrs.

Darla Shaw of Kingsville and Miss Roxanna Fain of Chillicothe; two sisters, Mrs. Bonnie L. Huddleson of Pueblo, and Mrs. Pearl Cockran of Pueblo. and nine grandchildren.
