WAYNE TOWNSHIP To Seek Federal Funds for New Sewaga System WAYNE -i--The Township Com mittee last night took steps to set up a sewage disposal system for the Mountain View area.

The action of the committee followed a proposal by Township Commit teeman Kicnara Benson wno recommended the local officials take advantage of Federal funds for such work. He explained the government ha set aside monies this year and said "why wait any longer to make application." He He argued that by 1959 "tht opportunity may not be there." Benson said that Totowa Bor ough's application was approved in less than a week. His thought was that the township could get S3U.000 of Federal funds and at least have tfie plan for the sewer prepared so the work could be gin at an early date.
