Marrazzo, Ex-Machinist, 67 Orlando J. Marrazzo, of Trenton Avenue, 'died Wednesday in St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, after a long illness. Born in Passaic, he lived in Paterson for the last 14 years. He was employed as a machinist by the Abco Tool Co.

of Elmwoed Park. He retired five years ago. He was a member of St. George's R.C. Church.

McD. Davis, Was R.R. President WILMINGTON, N.C. (UPI) Champion McDowell Davis, who started at age 14 as a Atlantic Coast Line Railroad messenger boy and worked his way to president, died Tuesday at Cape Fear Valley Hospital. Davis, 95, also was a director of the U.S.

Chamber of Commerce from 1949 to 1952. He retired in August 1957 as president of the Atlantic Coast Line, which in April, 1967, merged with the Seaboard Airline Railroad to become the Seaboard Coastline Railroad. He worked for the company for 64 years. Mrs. M.

Adele Culkin, 60, Local Borden Dairy Official Mr. Helms owned and operated a delicatessen store on Madeline Avenue for a great many name years under his, family before retiring in 1950. He was a 50-year member of Falls City Lodge No. 82, Paterson. His wife, the former Agnes Lavriakka, died in 1957.

The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Mason and Porter Funeral Home, 470 Clifton Ave. The Rev. Robert Stier, pastor of the New Apostolic Church of Wayne, will officiate. Cremation will be at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson.

Culkin was graduate of the Academy in Paterson and the Ridgewood Secretarial School, She attended the College of Paterson and Paterson State Teachers College, now the William Paterson College of Wayne. Mrs. Culkin also attended the New York College of Music. She was certified by G. Force Chamberlain, 57, Retired School Teacher POMPTON PLAINS G.

Force Chamberlain, 57, of 18 Cooper Road, died Wednesday at Chilton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born in Newark, he had lived in Pompton Plains since he was nine years old. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, and a member of the American Legion Post 243, Oak Ridge. Mr. Chamberlain was a Rose Marshall, Rectory Cook WAYNE Rose M.

Marshall, formerly of the Holy Family residence in West Paterson, died Tuesday at the Lakeview Convalescent Center and Nursing Home here after a long illness. Born and raised in Paterson, she was a graduate of St. John's Grammar and High schools. She was former bookkeeper for the. P.

J. Tierney Meat Market in Paterson. For many years Miss Marshall was a housekeeper and cook for several Roman Catholic rectories, including St. Patrick's rectory in Chatham, St. Catharine's in Glen Rock, and St.

George's in Paterson. She retired about five years ago. She was a member of St. George's Rosary and Altar FADAMISO, a charitable, organization for underprivileged children. The funeral will be Friday at 9 a.m.

John Hayden, 68 HAWTHORNE John Hayden, 68, of 136 10th died Tuesday at the Greater Paterson General Hospital, Wayne, after a long illness. Born in Paterson, Mr. Hayden lived in the city until he moved to Hawthorne 15 years ago. He was a retired private chauffeur and a bank guard for Franklin Bank in Paterson. He was a member of St.

Anthony's R.C. Church and the Paterson B.P.O. Elks. The funeral will be Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette followed by a Mass at St.

Anthony's Church. Interment will be in Fair Lawn Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mary A. (Freund), two daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Virtue) Pankow of Hawthorne, and Mrs.

Eileen Drozjock, also of Wayne; a son, John of Pompano Beach, four sisters, Mrs. Roy (Julia) Monroe of Wayne, Mrs. Virtue Van Olden of Haledon, Mrs. Ike (Edith) Vander Wiel of Paterson and Mrs. Elise Wendt of Paterson; 20 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Kupieszewski GARFIELD The funeral of Lawrence Kupieszewski, 79, who died Tuesday at home, will be held Friday at 8:30 a.m. from the Kamienski Funeral Home, 207 Locust Wallington. He retired 13 years ago after being the proprietor of his own butcher-grocery store for almost 40 years. Surviving are his wife, the former Anna Ziemba; a son Dr. Victor Kupps of Cleveland, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs.

J. Charles (Helen) Liebman of Escondido, and Mrs. Benjamin (Martha) Dul of Garfield; a brother, George of Passaic and five grandchildren. Irwin A. Kapin WEST CALDWELL Funeral services were held for Irwin A.

Kapin. who died Tuesday in Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York. He resided at 150 Runnymede Road. Born in Newark, Mr. Kapin had lived West Caldwell 15 years.

A Newark lawyer, he was a member of the Essex County and New Jersey Bar associations. He was a past president of Congregation Agudath Israel, Caldwell, He is survived by his wife, the former Evelyn Tomarin; a son, Albert; a daughter, Ellen and two brothers, Leonard and Martin. Franklin Lawrence RAMSEY-The funeral of Franklin Lawrence, 92, of Williamsville, N.Y., a former resident, who died Mondaf at home, was held today. Mr. Lawrence was born in New York and lived in Ramsey most of his life.

He moved to Williamsville five years ago. He was with Merrill, Lynch, Pierce, Fenner Smith for many years. Mr. Lawrence was the first football coach at Ramsey High School and also coached the Ramsey Racs, a semiprofessional football team. Surviving are a son, Franklin of Lakewood; two daughters, Ruth Gill of Ramsey and Marianne Gibson of Williamsville; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

His wife, Bessie, died in 1968. Franklin Beaven, Noted Cartoonist MAHWAH Private funeral arrangements for Franklin Newell Beaven, 68, of Forest Road, who died Tuesday at his home, are being made by the funeral home 109 Darlington Ave. Ramsey. Mr. Beaven's work as a freelance cartoonist delighted government officials and show business personalities alike.

An original Beaven cartoon which appeared in The New Yorker Magazine was hung in the Hyde Park Library at the personal request dent Franklin Roosevelt. Others who sought Mr. Beaven's work were J. Edgar Hoover, Gypsy Rose Lee, Jimmy Stewart and film producer Joseph E. Levine.

Born in Vincennes, Mr. Beavens lived in Great Neck, N.Y. before moving to Allendale in 1939. He later bought and restored an 18th century stone farm house in Mahwah. During World War II and the Korean War, Mr.

Beaven contributed his time and talent to the Office of War Information, the Treasury Department, the Federal Bureau Investigation and the State Department. of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and three grandchildren. Maisie W. Sheed, Catholic Activist NEW YORK (UPI) Maisie Ward Sheed, 86, 1 Catholic activist and literary figure, died Tuesday. A native of England; Miss Ward, with her husband, Frank Sheed, co founded Sheed Ward, a Catholic publishing house, in London in 1926 and later established a branch in New York. The firm was sold two years ago to Universal Press Syndicate.

Miss Ward lived with her husband in Jersey City, N.J. Kellie Ann Gentile, 4 TOTOWA Kellie Ann Gentile, 4, of Totowa Road, died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Paterson, following a short fliness. The daughter of Michael and Lena Cappello Gentile, Kellie Ann was born in Paterson. Her father is a member of the Paterson Police Department.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. from the DeLuccia Funeral Home, 111. Belmont Ave. at N. 8th Street, Paterson, with a 10:30 a.m.

Frances Warhaftig The mourning period for Miss Frances Warhaftig, a native Patersonian who died Monday in Miami Beach, will be at the home of her niece, Mrs. Marvin Lapidus, 5-03 Karl Fair Lawn. Miss Warhaftig was the office manager Lynn Textile Mills Co. of New York City before retiring 10 years ago when she moved to North Miami.

The textile firm was founded by her father, Morris Warhaftig, and at one time the company had two plants in Paterson. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Jenny Stave La Manna of Florida and Mrs. Lillian W. Gordon of Paterson..
