Beattie of St. Paul. Promoter Sam Silverman said Monday the 10-round bout, originally set for March 15, will be held March 27. McNeeley injured his hand while pounding out a victory over Art Brower last month.

Athletic Director Joel Eaves said Lawson, 53, would continue as a professor in the department of physical education. Assistant Coach Rex Frederick, 38, has been' directing the basketball team since shortly before midseason when Law-son became ill with nervous-' ness and physical fatigue. Bridgeport Loses Head Grid Coach Bob DiSpirito To Be BucknelVs Defensive Mentor BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (UPlj-University of Bridgeport football and baseball coach Bob DiSpirito resigned Monday night to become defensive football coach at Bucknell. DiSpirito, a little All America at the University of Rhode IS' land and captain of ther football team there for two years, said he would report to Bucknell Saturday for spring football practice. His resignation at Bridgeport is effective immediately. DiSpirito, who has been at Bridgeport for the past' six years, recommended his assist ant, Nick Nicolau, to succeed him as head football coach.

H. Beck, director of the Middlebury College Ski School, remained unconscious and in critical condition today after apparently hitting his head during the colleges winter carnival. Court Appeal, Is Denied To Molinas i WASHINGTON (UPI) Former basketball star Jack Molinas appeal for a hearing on basketball fixing bribery charges has been denied by the Supreme Court. The brief order leaves stand- ing decisions against Molinas in New York state courts which may cause him to spend 10 to 15 years in jail. Molinas also was convicted, in New York courts on charges of conspiracy and an attempt to get another person to lie under oath. Molinas was charged with being the operator of a conspiracy between 1957 and 196I which controlled the outcome of numerous college basketball games in various sections of the country.
