Obituaries Proposed lake does have ii in ht An rtXf poiH fho nnrnnsp Eunice Tramel Kerens Mrs. Eunice Tramel, 81, resident of Kerens, died Tuesday at a local nursing home. Services were Thursday, 10 a.m., Bazette Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Singleton officiating. Burial followed at Prairie Point Cemetery.

Survivors include four sons, Robert Tramel, of Kerens, Ray Tramel, of Athens, Hobson Tramel, of Bozier City, and Joe Tramel, of Henderson; a sister, Mrs. J.H. McCurrin of Wichita Falls, six grandchildren and nine grandchildren. Pallbearers are H. D.

Ballow, Bob Travel, Larry Wilbanks, Joe Brummett, Charlie Carrington and Johnny Tramel. Arrangements were with Paschal Funeral Home. George Ganlt BLOOMING GROVE George W. Gantt, 76, resident of Blooming Grove, died Wednesday at Navarro County Memorial Hospital. Services were Thursday, 3 p.m., Blooming Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev.

Leroy Reaves officiating. Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery. He was a retired farmer and lifelong resident of Blooming Grove. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Allie Gantt, of Blooming Grove; two sons Darwood Gantt, of Navarro Mills and Raymond Gantt, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; a daughter-in-law, Mrs.

Garland Gantt, of Houston; six grandchildren and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Robert Garrison, Carl Garrison, Eddie Garrison, Jerry Garrison, Fred Howell and Bobby Gantt. Arrangements were with Ballard Funeral Home in Blooming Grove. Joe Oliver Joe Oliver, 89, resident of Memphis, and formerly of Navarro County, died Sunday in Memphis. Graveside services were Wednesday, 10 a.m.

Birdston Cemetery in Streetman. The Rev. David Hale officiated. Arrangement were with Corley Funeral Home. He was bom July 29, 1890, in Bremond.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Oliver and a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Willie Jo Ashley, of California; Mrs. Imogene Hale, of Dallas, Mrs. Earnestine Harty, of Sacramento, and Mrs. Janice Monasco and Mrs.

Jeanette Howerton, both of Memphis, 11 grandchildren, 15 grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Belle Thompson, of Streetman. Reuben Fulcher Reuben Ben Fulcher, 79, resident of Ennis and formerly of Navarro County, died Saturday evening at Ennis Municipal Hospital. Services were 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Love Chapel Baptist Church in Corsicana.

The Rev. T. A. Turner officiated and burial followed in the Younger Chapel Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Ross and Johnson Mortuary.

Survivors include three sons, S. F. C. Reuben Fulcher, of Fort Hood, Dave Fulcher, of Ennis, and George Fulcher, of Dallas; three daughters, Mrs. Iillian Standfield, of Dallas, Mrs.

Kittie G. Manning, of Wilmer, and Miss Hattie Fulcher, of Ft. Worth; 25 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, two sisters and other relatives. Daniel Buck Funeral services for Daniel M. Buck, 68, were held Saturday at the Navarro Mills Baptist Church.

He died Friday in Memorial Hospital. His body was donated to the Anatomical Board of the State of Texas at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School of Dallas. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vivian F. Buck, Navarro Mills; three daughters, Suzanne Burton, Arlington, Sarah Caruth, Carrollton, Jackie Weaver, Muldrow, and seven grandchildren.

John Bays Jr. John W. Bays resident of Corpus Christiand native of Corsicana, died Monday in Corpus Christi. Graveside services were Friday, 11 a.m. Rose Hill Cemetery in Blooming Grove.

Services were Wednesday at Clifford Chapel Funeral Home in Corpus Christi. Survivors include his wife. Mrs. Jo Frances Bays, of Corpus Christi; one son, Rocky Bays, of Houston; one gran- daughter, Tammy Bays, of Houston; three sisters, Mrs. G.R.

Andruss and Mrs. W.B. Tatum, of Corsicana, and Mrs. F.A. Wise, of Odessa, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Rubie Dozier Rubie Elizabeth Dozier, 68, of Blooming Grove, died Friday at Navarro County Memorial Hospital. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Blooming Grove. The Rev. David Fortner and the Rev.

Charles Hall officiated. She was a lifelong resident of Blooming Grove. Survivors are her husband, Harold Dozier, of Blooming Grove; one daughter, Wanda Ruth Bryant of DeSoto; two sisters, Pearl Morgan, of Milford, and Ruth Gobbel, of Forth Worth; and granddaughters, Mrs. Rhonda Worley, of Navarro Mills, and Kathy Bryant, of DeSoto. Pallbearers were Buford Farish, Donnie Ralph Putman, Boyd Bryant, Ronald Lynch, and J.K.

Melton. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the church. Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery with Ballard Funeral Home of Blooming Grove in charge. Alius Rickard Alius Rickard, 61, native of Corsicana was pronounced dead on arrival to Navarro County Memorial Hospital Friday. Quiet hour was Sunday, 6:307:30 p.m.

About one year since the formation of the Tehuacana- Richland Enemies of the Dam (TRED), a new alliance has been created to muster support for the developemnt and construction. Friends of Richland Creek held an organizational meeting Tuesday, and the attorney Bill McKie said a petition being circulated through Corsicana and Navarro County had already picked up 400 to 500 sigantures of citizens favoring the $342 million project.
