C. Moore Marks 50 Years as Mortician Robrt C. Moore former freeholder and city commissioner, a partner in Moore's Home for Funerals in Wayne and Paterson, will have been a licensed funeral director for 50 years on Feb. 18. He attended School 5, Central School, and Renouard Training School for Embalmersating in New 1925.

in all its crystaline splendor will be the highlight of a Winter Walk Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. Sponsored by the Great Falls Development Corp. and Friends of Central Park in New York, the three-mile walk will pass the city's numerous natural and architectural landmarks. Outstanding buildings to be' viewed include City Hall and the First National Bank building on Ellison St. done by Carriere and Hastings who were the architectural designers of the New York Public Library.

The walk will also pass Hamilton Passaic County Courthouse, St. John's Cathedral, the Flemish-style old post office, historic Dublin district, Lambert Castle Garret Mountain Reservation with the 30-mile view of the New York skyline. Also on the tour will be Westside and Overlook Parks. The highlight of the tour will be a visit to the Great Falls Historic District which is listed in the National Register of Historic Sites with particular emphasis on the old mills linked by the raceways to the 77-foot high, 100-foot wide Great Falls. In height, the waterfall is second only to Niagara Falls in the East.

Leading the tour will be Robert Makla, Friends of Parks in New York; John B. Bayley, president of Classical America, and Jack Stokvis, principal planner of Paterson. The walk will start from the Great Falls Archaeology Lab at Van Houton Free parking will be provided at two lots on Cianci St. A minimal contribution will be charged for refreshments and stops will be made along the way to visit landmarks and get warm if necessary. Tours, starting at 2 p.m.

will be made up of small groups of people each with a guide. The walk will start at the historic district and proceed to City Hall for. a welcome by Mayor Lawrence Kramer and Dr. Allen Gold of the Great Falls Development Corp.
