(UP) One man was killed and two others were injured today when their automobile swerved off Route 100 at nearby Kirkwood and struck a culvert. The dead man was identified as Hichard McEmery, -42, New Castle, who was killed instantly in the crash. Police said the car was operated by Charles Demanski, 28, of 816 W. 4th Wilmington, was enroute home after visit- Demanski was taken to Pottslown Memorial Hospital with a broken leg and multiple cuts and bruises.

His condition was listed as "fair." Another passenger, Harold Rush, 49, also of Wilmington, suffered critical head injuries and was admitted to the same hospital. Police said the accident occurred at a sharp turn on the highway at a point where a small creek passes under the road. Lebanon, on April 30. 1956, Ernest P.
