I GcmafflftmiamAxsm Mrs. Stds To Hold Family Dinner oday Mr. and Mrs. John Stets, 110 Anthony St, are celebrating their 38th wedding anniversary today with a family dinner at home. Mr.

and Mrs. Stets were married Aug. 29, 1915, in New York by the Rev. E. Homicako.

Mrs. Stets is the former Miss Anna Marko. Eleven children were bom to the couple: William, Mrs. Julie Soares, John, Alex, Mrs. Mary Savage, Mrs.

Anna Richardson and Mrs. Martha Miller, all of Scranton; Bertha, at home; Michael, New York; Peter, New Jersey, and Paul, serving in Germany with the U. S. Army. They also have 15 grandchildren.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white rosepoint lace and tulle gown over satin featuring fitted bodice with sheer yoke, outlined in scallops, long sleeves tapering to points at the wrists and bouffant lace skirt, red-ingote effect, revealing a cascade of nylon tulle ruffles and ending in a short sweep.

Her tiered handrolled veil of illu-s i fell from a coronation crown of seed pearls. She carried white stephanotis and lilies of the valley with an orchid center. Miss Anna Mae Niemiec was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the Misses Mary Lou Dun-negan, Bernadette Laffey and Alice Potts, all of Scranton. The mdid of honor wore cotillion blue and the bridesmaids, shrimp, net gowns with matching stoles and lace headpieces.

They carried carnations and pompons. Diane Kwiatek, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. She wore a gown of white embroidered organdy with a garland of white daisies as a headpiece and carried a basket of white roses and blue pompons. Chester Kulesa was his brothers best man. Ushers were Donald Shoener, John Ravinskas and Tony Chludzinski.

Breakfast and a' reception were held at American Legion Hall, South Main Ave. The brides mother wore a purple crepe and satin dress, black accessories and an orchid corsage. The mother of the bridegroom wore a pink dress with white accessories and an orchid corsage. When the couple left on a wedding trip to the New England states and Canada, the bride wore a black crepe dress with duster, white accessories and an orchid corsage. They will reside at 608 North Main Ave.

The church was decorated with white gladioli, chrysanthemums, asters and ferns. Miss Anastashia Suchter, sister of the bridegroom, was maid of honor.

Miss Theresa Pavlak, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid. They wore cotillion blue and shrimp nylon tulle over taffeta gowns, respectively, with matching lace jackets. They wore crowns of velvet flowers with nose veils and carried yellow and red roses, respectively. Miss Susan Stine, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
