Stockbridge GRASS FIRES KEEP FIREMEN ON JUMP STOCKBRIDGE. April The Etockbridge fire department an swered' three call tot grass fires In the past two days, tlq first one being on the Caldwell estate as announced yesterday, and the other two ot yesterday being on 'the lasigi estate on Prospect hill and the other on the West Stockbridge road, a short distance from Church street. This latter fire Was considered by Fire Chief Harry P. Wookey as being a bad one, and It spread rapidly -because a strong wind was blowing. Mr.

Wookey states that no person should start a bonfire without a permit from him, and under no circumstance should start one when a strong wind Is blowing.
