"Nothing against those people," swears the owner of a grocery store, "but they say they'll bring 200,000 people into Wallkill for that festival and we just figure there won't be enough police and property will be damaged and the whole place will explode. We think there will be 20,000 people a day cominj here for the store opening and we just don't think they'll mix all that well. Besides, we've read about some of these rock concerts and we don't like what we've read." Or, as Town Supervisor Jack Schlosjer sees it, "This thing could cause bedlam." But Kornfeld, who has Wes Pomeroy, who used to be co-ordinator of law enforcement for the Depatrment of Justice under President Johnson, to handle police security, sees the whole thing as a communica tions breakdown. We have a chance to bring things all together," he says, 'if people will try not to be afraid and find out what's going on.

This thing is about people and for people, and that means everybody." About the only people who aren't worried about the Aquarian Exposition are the Sears, Roebuck folks.
