Pauls Church, Scranton, provided the setting Aug. 8 for the wedding of Mary Claire Marie Shivock, Scranton, and Mark Allen Hagan, Dallas. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Simon J.

Shivock, 1507 Von Storch Ave. The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. P. John Hagan, Hop Bottom.

The Rev. John H. Duggan, SJ, performed the 2:30 p.m. double ring ceremony. Given in marriage by her parents, the bride selected an off-shoulder gown of satin styled with a fitted sweetheart bodice of beaded lace appliques supporting double-ruffled sleeves centered with cabbage roses.

The aisle-wide skirt and cathedral train released by a back bow were bordered with scalloped Schiffli lace. Her tiara of sequins, pearls ana beads released a double-fanned pouf and a double-tiered veil. She carried a cascade of Casablanca lilies, yellow roses, and exotic foliage. Patricia Shivock, Nicholson, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore an intermezzo-length dress of iade green shantung.

Attired identically were bridesmaids Michele MRS. THOMAS P. CUMMINGS Patricia Ann ORourke, Malvern, and Thomas Patrick Cummings, Moosic Street, were united in marriage June 13 at St. Patricks Roman Catholic Church, Malvern. The bride is the daughter of Thomas John and Mary Jo ORourke, Malvern.

The bridegroom is the son of James and Joan Cummings, Scranton. The Rev. Robert Carroll performed the ceremony. Sheila Marie ORourke, San Francisco, was maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Virginia Nagle, West Chester, and Hilary Stefaniw, Philadelphia.

Junior bridesmaids were Rhian ORourke, New Delhi, India, and Emily ORourke, Lansdowne, cousins of the bride. Michael Cummings, Scranton, served as best man for his brother. Ushers were Thomas John ORourke IV and Daniel Charles ORourke, both of Malvern, brothers of the bride, and James Cummings, Scranton, brother of the bridegroom. A garden reception was conducted at tne home of the brides parents. The bride is a graduate of Academy of Notre Dame in Viilanova and the University of Scranton.

Prior to her marriage she was a sales service representative for Eagles Eye Conshohocken. The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Scranton and Dickinson Law School. He is an associate with Dougherty, Leventhal and Price, Scranton. Michaeline L. DeNapoli, Scranton, and Joseph M.

Maceyko Peckville, exchanged wedding vows June 20 in St. Rocco's Church, Scranton. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas DeNapoli, 2644 Ash St.

The bridegroom is the son of Joseph Maceyko, 20 Woodland Drive, Peckville, and the late Rita Kochis Maceyko. The Rev. Anthony Tombasco performed the 2 p.m. ceremony. The bride selected a mermaid-style gown of Alencon lace over taffeta featuring a wedding band collar and long sleeves set on a bodice with a keyhole back ending in a bow above a skirt and chapel train.

Her pearl and crystal headband held silk and pearl floral sprays, several poufs of illusion, and a double-tiered veil of illusion. Patricia DeNapoli, Scranton, was maid of honor for her sister. She wore a shrimp-colored mermaid-style gown of silk and Calle lace. Attired identically were bridesmaids Marisa and Maria DeNaples and Jennifer DeNapoli, all of Dunmore; Lisa DeNaples, Moscow, and Rose Caramanno, Scranton, all cousins of the bride, and Teresa Prisco, Scranton. Jason Maceyko, Peckville, was best man for his brother.

Ushers were David and Clark Campbell and Bernard Cooper, all of Peckville, all cousins of the bridegroom; Thomas Gazoo, Scranton, cousin of the bride: George Brenzel, Peckville, and Brian Sworen, Old Forge. A reception followed at Fiorellis, Peckville. The bride, a graduate of Dunmore High School, is studying business at Lackawanna Junior College. She is employed in the mortgage processing department of First National Community Bank, Dunmore. The bridegroom is a graduate of Valley View High School and attended Pennsylvania State University.

Rose, Scranton, were married Saturday in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Dunmore. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Greco 728 E.

Warren Dunmore. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene J. Rose, 921 Oxford St.

Monsignor J. Anthony Tito performed the 2:30 p.m. ceremony. Escorted by her father, the bride selected a gown of ivory Italian regal satin styled with a batteau neckline and double flounce cape sleeves and gauntlets supported by a fitted bodice detailed with embroidery, sequins and pearls. The basque waistline released a ballroom skirt with two tiers of ruffles and a cathedral train.

Her profile hat of satin and Alencon lace was accented with floral and pearl sprays leading to a pouf and hand-rolled fingertip veil. Jean Marie Alu, Dunmore, was matron of honor for her sister. Juneanne Greco, Dunmore, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. They wore tea-length suits of midnight blue iridescent taffeta. Attired identically were bridesmaids Crissy Rose Smith, Scranton, sister of the bridegroom; Jo Ann Syryla, Jessup, and Donna Worozilcak, Scranton.

Junior bridesmaid was Caressa Dawn Greco, Dunmore, niece of the bride. Flower girls were Brandi Rae Greco, Dunmore, niece of the bride; Danielle Carolyn Alu, niece and goddaughter of the bride, and Alexis June Alu, niece of the bride, both of Dunmore. Jack Ware, Scranton, was best man. Ushers were Anthony Greco, Dunmore, brother of the bride; Bob Lee, Reading; Sal Naro, Scranton, and Ron Sgobba, Archbald. Ring bearers were Anthony Alu, Dunmore, nephew of the bride, and Scott Smith, Scranton; nephew of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at St. Stanislaus Center, Old Forge, The bride is a graduate of Dunmore High School and attended Marywood College and Community Medical Center School of Nursing. She is a sales coordinator for Waste Management, Dunmore. The bridegroom is a graduate of West Scranton High School and a summa cum laude graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where he received a degree in electrical engineering. He is pursuing a degree in information systems at the University of Scranton and is employed in the systems department of Harper Collins.

The couple will live in Clarks Summit. Dean, Scranton; Laurie McCoy, Justus; Elaine Winkler, Toms River, N.J., and Jane Hagan. Thornhurst, sister of the bridegroom. Flower girl was Sarah Shivock, Nicholson, niece and godchild of the bride. David Hanson, Harveys Lake, was best man.

Ushers were Joseph Shivock, Nicholson, brother of the bride; Eric Seitz, Bethlehem; Timothy McCoy, Justus, and Eric Turner, Dallas. Ring bearers were Peter and Christopher Shivock, Nicholson, nephews and godchildren of the bride. A reception was conducted at St. Marys Center, Scranton. The bride is a graduate of Bishop Hannan High School and is self-employed.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Wyoming Seminary, Kingston, and received a bachelors degree in engineering mechanics at Lehigh University, Bethlehem. A professional engineer registered in Pennsylvania, he is a project engineer at GSGSB, Clarks Summit. Following a trip to Colorado, the couple lives in Dallas. PowiH Portrait MRS. DAVID LEWANDOSKI Jacqueline Akulonis, Duryea, became the bride of David Lewandoski, Taylor, in a ceremony Friday at St.

Josephs Church, Duryea. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Akulonis, 838 Main Duryea. The bridegroom is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. Stanley Lewandoski, 1314 Loomis Taylor. The Rev. Charles Edunk performed the 3:30 p.m. ceremony.

The brides satin gown was designed with a scalloped neckline ana long sleeves supported by a fitted bodice. A beaded crown accented her hair. Matron of honor was Karen Sheesley, Merced, Calif. She wore an emerald green velvet dress. Attired identically were bridesmaids Nancy Akulonis, Duryea, sister-in-law of the bride; Mary Ellen McLean, Pittston, and Joyce Salsburg, Chicago, 111.

Flower girl was Laura Azaravich, Pittston, godchild of the bride. David Kernich, Cockeysville, served as best man. Ushers were Alfred Akulonis Duryea, brother of the bride; Walter Bendowski, Plains, and Kevin Oliver, Dunmore. A reception was conducted at Fox Hill Country Club, Exeter. The bride is a graduate of Seton Catholic High School and Kings College.

She is director of community programming at WNEP-TV. The bridegroom, a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, is executive producer of local programming at WNEP-TV. The couple will take a wedding trip to Italy. The Rev. Russell and Gretta Aults, Box 129A, Susquehanna RR 1, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Saturday.

The couple was married Oct. 3, 1952, in the parsonage of First Church of God, Brisbin, by the late Rev. Ralph C. Warner. Mrs.

Aults is the daughter of Margaret Baxter, Brisbin, and the late Robert Baxter Sr. She is self-employed with Balloons Us, which she operates from her home. Mr. Aults is the son of Perry C. Aults, Sandy Ridge, and the late Margaret Aults.

He is radio pastor for WPEL, Montrose, and also assists Mrs. Aults balloon business. They have three children, Bonnie Taylor, Red Lion; Becky Dean, Peguea, and Betty Eichelber-ger, Wytopitlock, Maine. Two of their children are deceased. They also have nine grandchildren.

ROBERT H. AND JANE SHULENBERGER Robert H. and Jane Davenhall Shulenberger, 2012 N. Washington celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday. The couple was married Oct.

3, 1942, in Green Ridge Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Dr. Charles Erhardt and the Rev. William Sanfer Laser. Mrs.

Shulenberger is the daughter of the late Walter and Freda Davenhall. Mr. Shulenberger is the son of the late Nell and Bo Shulenberger. The couple has two children, Linda S. Kollett, Norton, and David, Scranton.

They also have two grandchildren. The family celebrated at the Red Lion Inn, Stockbridge, Mass. Kishan Markarian and Christopher Matthew Mursch, both of 319 N. Hyde Park exchanged wedding vows Sept. 12 at United Providence Presbyterian Church.

The bride is the daughter of David and Barbara Markarian, 803 Raines St. The bridegroom is the son of Lorriane Mursch, 335 Ferdinand and Earl Mursch, 522 E. Locust St. Dr. John Markarian performed the 4 p.m.
