Mr. Moffat had been secretary-treasurer of the coal firm and later was a partner. He retired from the concern jn May, 1949. His brother, Robert Y. Moffat, now operates the -coal concern.

Another brother, W. K. Moffat, died in 1953. Born in Dunmore, Mr. Moffat resided in this City 30 years.

The patient is Edward Kuiik, 738 Carmalt Dickson City, who was injured in a fishing accident and later suffered a brain hemmorrhage. The surgery was performed, but the need for blood continues.

In approximately two weeks the patient required more than a dozen pints of blood. About a week ago, a group of eight soldiers from Tobyhanna Depot went to the hospital and donated blood and another seven soldiers donated blood yesterday. The soldiers learned of the case through a' relative of Mr. Kuiik Former State Superior Court a civUian emPloye at Judge Charles E. Kenworthey.

Greenop, 50, 520 Clay who was badly burned by hot water after he suffered a weak spell while showering in his apartment two weeks ago, died yesterday morning in Moses Taylor Hospital. Mr. Greenop accidentally turned on the hot water valve in the shower when he collapsed. He also suffered a deep cut of the right hip when he fell on a bottle of shampoo.

When water seeped through the bathroom to the apartment below, a maintenance man opened the victim's room with a passkey and found him on the floor. Mr. Greenop was plant manager of the Dearborn Glass Jermyn. He was formerly associated with the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. Bora in Union, he resided in Pittsburgh 18 years "jbefore moving here In 1951.

He was a son of the late Harry P. and Elizabeth Jones Greenop. An aunt, Mrs. William D. Salter, Bayonne, N.
