His widow is the former Agnes Bugliosi. Born March 9, 1923, in Pittston, son of the late Ignazio and Carmella Navarro Saporito, he was a graduate of Pittston High School and attended the University of Scranton. He was employed by Crossroads Container, Pittston Township, before retiring and also worked for several mobile home manufacturing companies. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a life member of the San Cataldo Society, Pittston, serving as secretary for many years, and a member of Mount Carmel Church, Pittston.

Also surviving are a son, Carmen Pittston; two daughters, Carla, Duryea, and Tina Booth, Avoca; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, Joseph, Salvatore and Cataldo; and four sisters, Anna, Lillian, Rita and Pauline. Marion Caolo Browning Robert R. Deuel Esposito January 9, 1998 January 8, 1998 January 10, 1998 Marion Caolo Esposito, 2131 Meadow Lark Road, Spring Hill, formerly of Rundle Street, Scranton, died Saturday at home. She was the widow of John R. Esposito, who died in 1994. Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Michael and Amalia DeLusca Caolo, she was educated in Scranton schools and a graduate of the Powell School of Business.

She was a member of St. Theresa's Church, Spring Hill, Fla. Surviving are three daughters, Marion Badwak, with whom she resided; Mallie Moran, Old Forge, and Mae Gilbert, Scranton; two sons, John, Randolph, N.J., and Michael, New Bern, a brother, Joseph, Scranton; a sister, Marie Treschetta, Scranton; grandchildren; greatgrandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Interment, Oak Lawn Cemetery, Baltimore, Md. Elizabeth Lee January 11, 1998 Elizabeth Lee, North Scranton, died Sunday evening at home after an illness. She was the wife of George C. Lee. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in June 1997.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Henry and Margaret Arthur Schamberg, she was a lifelong resident of Scranton. She was a member of the Court Street United Methodist Church and theWomen's Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5209. Also surviving are a son, George Scranton; five sisters, Ann Masters, Harriett Herne and Mary Lesh, all. of Scranton, and Norma Solack, North Tonawanda, N.Y.; 11, grandchildren; many great-and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by' a brother, Eliazer "Red" Davis; and a sister, Catherine Slugg.

She was the widow of John Kolinofsky, who died in 1969. Born in Chinchilla, daughter of the late Archibald and Grace Lockett Hood, she was a graduate of the Johnson School of Technology. She attended the United Baptist Church, Taylor. Surviving are a son, Andrew, Hereford, two daughters, Anita Silvertson, Riegelsville, and Sandra Baggott, Tucson, a brother, Robert, Pennington, N.J.; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, James.

January 10, 1998 Charles J. Spencer a guest at Regina Manor, 1554 Sanderson formerly of 1226 Prospect died Saturday evening in Moses Taylor Hospital. His widow is the former Florence Hunter. Born in Dunmore, son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Spencer, he was educated in Dunmore schools and attended the Johnson Business School. He was employed as a salesman for Scranton Craftsman.

He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion, Scranton. Also surviving are two daughters, Barbara and Diane, both of Scranton; a sister, Grace McHugh, Scranton; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles J. and a brother, Leo Gilroy. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m.

City; two daughters, Donna Barnes, Dickson City, and Tamara Manasek, Dalton; two sisters, Estelle Shargay, Minnesota, and Bernice Felmey, Lewisburg; two brothers, John Taras, New Jersey, and Peter Taras, Dickson City; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Anthony and Frank Taras; a sister, Helen Yenkel; an infant son, Dennis; and two nephews. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

She was a member of the Church of St.

5, 1946, in Scranton, son of John and Janet Davis Evans, Little Rock, he was a truck driver for Venezia Hauling and Transport Limerick. He was a member of Mount Bethel Baptist Church, Justus, and the Red Lion Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1446. He was a former semi-pro football player with the York Lions, Lackawanna County Eagles and Scranton Eagles, and a volunteer fireman and fire policeman with the Chinchilla Hose Company. He was a former member of the Sunday night mixed bowling league of Suburban Bowl-a-rama. Also surviving are two daughters, Heather, Lemoyne, and Courtney, York; a brother, Dean, Warrington; a sister, Carol Love, Phoenixville; and nieces and nephews.

Edith M. Gallup January 10, 1998 Edith M. Gallup, 20 Getty. Road, Stony Point, N.Y., formerly of Carbondale, died Saturday at home after an illness. She was the widow of Jack Gallup, who died in 1983.

Born in Plains, daughter of the late Thomas and Edith Walker Tregaskis, she attended WilkesBarre area schools. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Carbondale. Surviving are three daughters, Dorothy Price and Margaret Ryan, both of Stony Point, N.Y., and Ann Truman, Carbondale; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. John Beecham Browning, 85, of Toms River, N.J., died Friday. His widow is the former Josephine Slimak of Blakely. Born in Olyphant, son of the late Alfred James and Agnes Beecham Browning, he was a graduate of Olyphant High School. Before moving to New Jersey, he was employed by the Hudson Coal Company. He was also employed as an electrician for the Driner-Harris Company, Harrison, N.J.

He was a member of the Episcopal Church, Harrison, N.J., and the Masonic Lodge, North Arlington, N.J. Also surviving are a son, Robert, Bloomfield, N.J.; a brother, David Blakely; two granddaughters; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth; a sister, Mary; and a brother, Alfred. Cremation was in Toms River, N.J. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

She was the widow of John Sahayda, a former resident of Scranton. Born in Dickson City, daughter of the late Anthony and Scholastyka Berlinski Otrimski, she was employed by Co-Op Grocery before retiring in 1968. She was a member of St. Hilary's Church and its 50-Plus Club, a volunteer at St. Edward's and a member of Local 880 Veterans of Foreign Wars, all in Akron.

Surviving are a son, John, Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Janice Comer, Queen Creek, two sisters, Estelle Krenitsky, Naugatuck, and Evelyn Kryscio, Halafax; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Harry; and a sister, Sophie Barbato. The funeral was Dec. 1, 1997, from the Hummel Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio, with Mass in St. Hilary's Church.

Entombment, Greenlawn Mausoleum. Robert R. Deuel, 78, of Montrose, died Thursday in St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown, Md. His widow is the former Mildred Murray.

The couple were married 52 years. Born Feb. 9, 1919, in Montrose, son of the late Raymond and Bessie Patrick Deuel, he was a graduate of Montrose High School and the Pennsylvania State University. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theatre on the first night flight carrier, the USS Independence. He owned and operated Deuel's Restaurant, Montrose, for 20 years.

He later worked for the U. S. Postal Service for 19 years before retiring. After retiring, he worked as a tipstaff at the Susquehanna County Courthouse. He was a member of Holy Name of Mary Church, Montrose, where he was an usher; former president of the Montrose Lions Club, where he received the 1987 Montrose Lion of the Award; and a member of the Ayer Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5642, Montrose.

He was an avid golfer and gardener. Also surviving are a daughter, Patricia Larnerd, Great Mills, a son, S. Ellsworth Duff III, Newfield, N.Y.; a sister, Dorothy Meehan, Binghamton, N.Y.; a brother, Harry, Palm Harbour, three grandchildren; and nieces and 1 nephews. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Heather Marie Duff. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m.

She was employed as manager of Your Host Restaurants in the Buffalo and Kenmore, N.Y., areas for many years before retiring.
