Crass, widow of J. E. Crass, and the Lincoln Trust Com pany, trustees for Mr.

Crass's children, were made defendanta yesterday In a suit for $26,510.10 by the Seller Coal Company. The Seller Company is asking court to Issue a writ, returnable In January, by which it hopes to recovci $25,000, together with Interest and fees, which represents a mortgage given Mr. Crass. Attorneys Ralph W. Rymer and James K.

Thanksgiving Dinner Salted Roasted Nu.to Sliced Tomatoes Roast Turkey or Chicken Melba Toast Dressing Mashed Carrots' and Turnips Prune Whip Take a walk during the afternoon, and have a light lunch In- the evening, using some of the cold turkey or chicken and a combination salad of raw vegetables. MKLBA TOAST DRESSING: Put through the food grinder a suitable amount of Melba toast. Moisten with milk, and add any desired quantity of the following: Ground celery, raisins and minced olives. Mix together in any proportion desired, being cautious not to use too many raisins.

BAKED EGG PLANT: Cut a medium size egg plant In half, remove edible portion and cook until tender in a small amount of water. Mash, and add onp-half cup of Melba toast crumbs to each cup of cooked egg plant. Heap into the uncooked shells, sprinkle liberally with Melba toast crumbs and bake for about ten minutes or until browned on top. Serve In the shells, with butter. BAKED CARROTS AND TURNIPS: Put through thr food grinder small unpeeled carrots and turnips, using an equal number of ech.

It Is a good plan to grind first a carrot, then a turnip; and so on, to assist In thoroughly mixing them. Place the mixture in a shallow pan to a depth of one or two inches, and without adding any water or seasoning, bake In a moderate oven about ten minutes or longer, depending upon the quantity. An agreeable flavor Is added If the top Is slightly browned.
