Arnold, widow of Gen. H. H. (Hap) Arnold, who led the U.S. Air Force in World War 11, has donated his personal papers to the Library of Congress.

The library said the H. H. Arnold Collection will be an "invaluable addition" to its shelves of aeronautical manuscripts, Billy that Mitchell, contain Gen. papers Carl of Spaatz and the Wright Brothers, who taught Arnold to fly. The 15,000 Arnold items include diaries, photograph albums, scrapbooks of news clippings, speech manuscripts, statements, articles, books and extensive files of correspondence, some with top Allied leaders of World War Il.

Recover Seaman's Body Police recovered the body Kristan Ofsteng, 27, from Buttermilk Channel, 200 feet off Pioneer early this morning. Delaney Funeral Rites One hundred and fifty persons attended a solemn requiem mass at Queen of All Saints R.

C. Church, Vanderbilt and Lafayette today for John H. Delaney, former chairman of the city Board of Transportation, who died Thursday in Doctor's Hospital, Manhattan, at the age of 81. Celebrant of the mass was the Rev. David Farley.

Morse, 73, former captain of the Nassau County Police force, died yesterday at his home, 54 Greenwich St. Born in Manhattan, Captain Morse was a veteran of the Spanish, American War. He came to Nassau in 1914 and was hired as a special investigator for the Nassau District Attorney's office and in 1922 was appointed deputy sheriff. The following year he was made a detective when the force organized and in 1925 was named one of the first members when the detective bureau was set up under State law. He served in that post until his retirement with the rank of acting captain in 1945.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Cronk Funeral Home. Garden City. Burial will be at Cypress Hills Cemetery. Walter J.
